No need for cav on those hills. it just exposes them or cav just cancels each other out where you only have 12 left after a cav battle on the hill. if your good at square, then reserve your cav. let your opponent be forced to move cav of the hill and you can get lucky and shoot 20 of them.
Then I'd just walk my cav into your men as they try to beat my to the hill, which for the possible loss of a singular cav unit Id be bale to take the hill, and if there is a light nearby I could charge through the square.
