  • Japan Self-Defense Force members gave Soldiers a taste of jūkendō also known as "the way of the bayonet". The Soldiers worked up a sweat while participating in this martial art. Through this they hoped to strengthen bonds with their Japanese allies.

    Israeli soldiers should also learn and practice jukendo.

    You watch those old WW2 movies, in melee combat Japanese soldiers are always screaming like mad man, when the strike an enemy soldiers, now watching this...kinda understand why. I mean, they are doing that exact same thing in training (I think it is about, been able to catch your breath.)

      The yelling during each strike is taught in most martial arts forms, if not all of them. When I was practicing Taekwando in school, the instructer told us it was to incorporate more force into each strike.

    I'm not sure, but this martial arts scared me a lot. It's as beautiful as it's scary.
