Good music. Good video. It's getting rarer and rarer to find a combination of the two on TH-cam. Congratulations for having access to such a cool activity and for the swet video. I hope to find a wrecked plane near my house in the mountains that supposedly went down in late 50s. Cannot wait for it!
I would agree that this cars flipped over and crashed into the water. Greek streets are often bad and when a car flipps over, it loses a lot of parts so we know why a lot of cars down there are lost engine and co... Great Video! :-)
Here in Sweden this was a pretty common way to get rid of old cars until the 50´s. The easiest way was to drive or pull the car out on the ice of a lake and wait for spring to come! In summer a ferry..... Car not visable, good!.... Car #1 in this clip might be an Alfasud, usually they started to rust even before the first owner got it! #3 Is most probably a Suzuki, maybe a 70´s one with a little 2-stroke engine popular as a rental in Greece and Grand canaria.
@mapscannotcontainme thats amazing, you'll have to keep us posted on that, not to mention what kind of crazy attention you would get, thats just a great amount of sentimental value. although im not sure if thats really the word im looking for...
I noticed what could have been a Merc cougar, and the unmistakeable small block chevy also! What were they doing down there? A car hualer go down or something?
LOL oh so cool!! Does that mean that the next time I need a steering wheel bolt because i rounded one off, that I don my diving gear and breaker bars and sockets and wrenches?! hehe
@CassettePlaya1 *Continued* It states that most of the cars in there are driven off the edge either due to been stolen, insurance, fraud, outstanding finance or various other forms of the cars been involved in criminal activity. So that means that no remaining fuel is extracted or any other chemical fluids such as battery fluid etc. But they do go on to create corals and homes for many underwater sea life due to the depths and lengths of time the vehicles stay there. So I stand correct there.
@zman799 I would have thought it was a jeep YJ due to the way the rims look and the shape of where the door would go. the roll bar also extended to the front window frame which the YJ's had. i don't know but thats just my opinion.
they dont look gutted, so either someone with alot of cars wanted to get ride of them fast and for cheap or depending how close the cars were to the shore they might have been ghost driven of the cliff.
Those look to not only be crashed cars but also pretty cleanly stripped. Probably part of some artificial reef project that happened to use junk cars instead of sinking old boats.
How Would You Know? Were You One Of Those Guys Exploring That Cemetery? Did You Personally Go Down There And See That Vehicle And Seen That It Was Not Indeed A DeLorean?
LOL... Carfax is like totally clean... just like it was on the last car I bought that obviously had a screwed up front fender from the factory. CL ad could read "Low Mileage Jeep, slight leak in the roof, comes with free carp, eel and 3 starfish. Great fixer upper for your new teen driver"
The way the Greek economy is at the moment you will probably find all those cars sit below the water under a very high cliff known locally as Suicide Point.
@fresky74 those are nice cars but Rolls Royce is BMW now. It's still built in the U.K but uses a BMW N73 V12 built by BMW and a 7 series chassis. MG's are owned by chinese company Nanjing Auto and buit in china.TVR is owned by a Russian and is manufactured by german company Gullwing. Body and final assembly are done in Italy using American v8's. Ford stopped building cars in Britian in 2002. the Mondeo is made in Belgium, the Fiesta,Ka and Focus in Germany, and Transit connect in Turkey.
Ok, it looked like an intentional dump to create an artificial "reef" for underwater wildlife as most of the vehicles were missing key components such as engine blocks and gas tanks... Although I DID see what looked like a stray engine block laying somewhat away from the cars...
6;58 4cyl inline fwd it have been placed like a rwd in the enging bay ....ford used to do this in the 60..ex the ford taunus p6 15M but they used V4 engines ..anybody know what this is?
Good music. Good video.

Lovely music to go with it!!! Nice vid!
Goodness. I live in Greece and I didn't know about it.
Thanks for sharing.
How I went from ufo videos to underwater car cementarys is the real question.
Absolutely BANGING soundtrack.
that truck in a jeep the first world war very good video thanks x upload this video I really liked Greetings from Argentina =)
That Jeep is not even close to mil-spec.
FurryJunk Yep, looks like a CJ5 or something.
*****
The rims say more recent. I'd say 80s or 90s Wrangler. Probably dumped for a real Jeep.
im guessing all those cars are chrysler "SEA"brings. :P
Cool guys!! I was born in greece but ive never been diving there...!! looks like good water!

no, it's not. The name of the song is Aisha. Some arab guy sings in french. it was real big in europe in the mid 90s

I see potential in these cars.A little TLC will bring them back to life.
Amazing....any idea of what some of those cars is? I recognize a Jeep....
The first song is Aïcha sang by Khaleb in 1996, the second one is Red red wine performed by UB40 ! :)
Metal will oxidize even without air. Just needs iron, oxygen and water/ moisture. Other forms of rust can occur even without oxygen.
the video is incredible there is a beautifull place.. haa what is a name of first song? I like, thanks congratulations
I noticed what could have been a Merc cougar, and the unmistakeable small block chevy also! What were they doing down there? A car hualer go down or something?
the first song is Aicha by Cheb Khaled and was wondering what version was used for this video?
LOL oh so cool!! Does that mean that the next time I need a steering wheel bolt because i rounded one off, that I don my diving gear and breaker bars and sockets and wrenches?! hehe
wtf! the v8 on 6:17 looked like its been there a week! and lol at 1:58 he´s opening ´the door´! xD real cool video!
I think that one car at the end was a jeep wrangler CJ7 used for off road. Because, the roll bar looks like the off road type.
@CassettePlaya1 *Continued* It states that most of the cars in there are driven off the edge either due to been stolen, insurance, fraud, outstanding finance or various other forms of the cars been involved in criminal activity. It never ceases to amaze that people continue to dispose of their shit in such a way.... Sponge Bob rules...
Love the music. can i have the song name please!
wat happend to the first song???
can someone explain how did those cars get in the bottom of the ocean, and why?
what version of Aicha is this, i ask because i'm trying to find this exact rhythmic version that's in this video.
@3:50 -- "off roading" took on a whole new meaning...
Πολύ καλή ορατότητα, τέλειο για βουτιά !
@zman799 I would have thought it was a jeep YJ due to the way the rims look and the shape of where the door would go. the roll bar also extended to the front window frame which the YJ's had. i don't know but thats just my opinion.
the one car with the rollbar is a jeep wrangler 1987-1991 i cant believe i could still tell through all the ocean life growing on it :P lol
cool! that was amazing
very cool vid, thanks.
Is there a story as to why/how they ended up there?
they dont look gutted, so either someone with alot of cars wanted to get ride of them fast and for cheap or depending how close the cars were to the shore they might have been ghost driven of the cliff.
Is it a land rover that they are having a look at?
totally remember the red red wine song i love that song sweet
I wonder how did they get there?
@skylinebrett
No. Axles, suspensors, shifting, gearboxes etc.
Sorry, no skeleton.
who sung this song?? what's the title? please help..i like the song...
porque esses carros foram parar ai? acidente? roubo?
@skylinebrett
it appears to be the front suspension
I wonder if there is any rust.
Water is the fuel for those cars...:))))) What's the song?
Those look to not only be crashed cars but also pretty cleanly stripped. Probably part of some artificial reef project that happened to use junk cars instead of sinking old boats.
what's that song that's playing before the song "Red Red wine"
where is this place?? Why this car's is underwater? What happened? please on writeoff ;)
the origine of this music is CHEB KHALED - AICHA
or not ??????
So, what exactly is the story behind this place?
Hola a todos el primer tema es Aïcha versión Zouk (Khaled - Aicha Zouk Version)
Is there any air left in tyres?
How Would You Know?
Were You One Of Those Guys Exploring That Cemetery?
Did You Personally Go Down There And See That Vehicle And Seen That It Was Not Indeed A DeLorean?
water was nice and clear!
@maleka58 right, wheres the wildlife?
Do you know the brand or model of those cars?
theres a river near where i live and it has a bus, boat, halicopter and small plane in it
Are these the new cars the GM is making?
I only recognize it as a possible cover from a swedish group. or they have made a cover on it. but the songs is called aicha.
just need a quick polish they should still turn over right haha
LOL... Carfax is like totally clean... just like it was on the last car I bought that obviously had a screwed up front fender from the factory. CL ad could read "Low Mileage Jeep, slight leak in the roof, comes with free carp, eel and 3 starfish. Great fixer upper for your new teen driver"
The wrangler one is ready for a hot beach party hahahah
i cant believe how clear the water is there
whats the name of this first song please? I wanna know ):
The way the Greek economy is at the moment you will probably find all those cars sit below the water under a very high cliff known locally as Suicide Point.
How did the cars end up there ?????
That water looks beautiful but underwater cars creep me out for some reason
just guessing...... did they take there driving lessons ?
how did they all get there
4:44, passenger side inside the jeep, bottom right. Human rib cage?
Aicha, by Cheb Khalib. If you're looking for the first song.
how did those cars end up there
me bein a car lover. i cried when i watched this.:( poor jeep.
so how did they get there?
It's not a Pinto, or even a hatchback..... those are holes for speakers in the rear shelf. (also Pintos weren't sold outside America)
wonder if the tires still held air....
does anyone know what the second song is called???
If you go scubaing in the Thames or Venice you will find all sorts of cars.
How did those get there
+James Wilson
I guess crashes,jumping from cliffs
+James Wilson
Or Mafia things

I'm not curious to how they got there, just about how they got all bent up
Do you think itll start?
wow that is so nice
I approve of the divers "driving" the first car they encountered.
What happened that these cars are down here?
@9mmnz actually ub40 is on in the second half lol
Ok, it looked like an intentional dump to create an artificial "reef" for underwater wildlife as most of the vehicles were missing key components such as engine blocks and gas tanks... Although I DID see what looked like a stray engine block laying somewhat away from the cars...
i like the new dealer underwater good price
6;58 4cyl inline fwd it have been placed like a rwd in the enging bay ....ford used to do this in the 60..ex the ford taunus p6 15M but they used V4 engines ..anybody know what this is?
nice camera quality underwateer
@skylinebrett
it's impossible to be, i think it's some engine part of that car
who sung the song on the first part?
whats the first song? i know its ´´aisha´´ but not the singer/s. this is bbetter than the original :)
