And MORE government rental protection too!! Landlords should NOT BE ABLE to evict a tenant if they don't pay the rent or vandalize the property. By no means should a landlord be able to raise raise the rent to cover their rising costs such as market conditions, higher municipal taxes, or costs of renovations / improvements to the property. Renters must be entitled to pay the same rent (or no rent at all if they so chose)!

The NDP will not back a non-confidence motion at this time because it is not in their interest to do so. When circumstances seem to favor them, then they will raise a motion.

I'm fine with the GST as its a consumables tax. I only pay it when I consume something. How much or how little I pay into it depends on how much I CHOOSE to consume. I'm fine with the national GST.
It's gone down twice by Conservative governments, the Liberals had plenty of time since it came into effect to lower it or get rid of it, neither has ever happened.
In 2008 the federal CONSERVATIVES brought in the carbon tax ..starting in BC
