Enlightenment is mostly about setting oneself aside for others. The "ego" is best objectified in selfless acts made for the benefit of others. Knowledge lends motivation, but only action will reveal the enlightened perspective. Apply the gift of gratitude on an interpersonal level. Stop comparing yourself to others. Stop judging this or that to be good or bad. It happened. Accept it without reacting and instead respond from outside emotion. Acceptance is love. Accept them without judging. That's love. That's helping. That's being a selfless leader. Acceptance.
