Thank you! My 6 year old son was dead set on opening up his magic 8 ball to see what was inside. You saved me the mess! 😂 We were both surprised to find out the entire ball wasn't filled with liquid! Great video!! 👍
It's awesome how you involve your kids, educational and fun quality time . Defiantly a good dad
Instead of teaching your kids to destroy a brand new toy, which will now be useless plastic waste, you could have easily just looked on the internet to see what was inside. Note: The founder of the Magic 8 Ball designed the liquid to be blue dye in an alcohol base. A word of caution is that the blue dye can potentially be dangerous, toxic and stainable - especially with your clothes, sinks etc. Its definitely not edible and has a strong, murky smell.

I still have my Magic 8 Ball and it is at least 25 years old and it works like a charm. I had another one back in 1981, and only had that for 4 years and bleached out for some reason and you could not see the answers on it anymore

+Bng ComicZz He said what's inside a TV, TV being short for television. A TV doesn't have to be a flat screen, it just has to have the right components and do the right job. Hell, you could completely hollow out a radio and give it components of a toaster (and vice versa) and it would be a toaster.

Well, maybe the early ones from 1950 were that way, but it appears the design is such that you don't need the entire sphere to be filled with liquid. This design is easy and cheap to manufature, and you don't need nearly a large amount of liquid (which is basically blue alcohol), for safety and toxicity reasons.
