Tulip wonders who you are speaking to; and why she does not get all the attention and bananas!
Thank you so much for all you do for these precious animals. You brought Tulip from the brink of death to be a thriving yearling, and I know Stormy and Petunia will thrive equally as much. Here's to positive introductions!
Thank you so much for the info, Holley! And thank you to those who give generous donations!
We understand you have to feel your way through a lot of this…we’re praying and rooting for all the best possible results! 🙏🏻❤️
Really interesting to hear your plans. Thanks for the information.
Thank you Dr. Holley for taking us along on your journey. Cheers, Michael S.
I don't know if it would help or be relevant, but The Beaver Trust here in the UK has had experience in introducing beavers who are strangers to each other. It's been a necessity because until around 15 years ago, beavers were extinct in the UK. Beavers were brought here from Europe to reintroduce the species, and to diversify the gene pool, they had to pair them up. Maybe they have some strategies that might help?
Thank you so much for the update on your plans. This looks like a life-time commitment for the whole family and that is a huge gift to the beavers. Bless you for being the wonderful people that you are. 🙏❤
It's nice that the beavers are welcome here and thank God they are now protected. Here in Germany, beavers are only found in very specific areas. ❤️🦫
@@ml_mellie The UK owes Germany a huge *"thank you"* for donating some of your beavers to us. ❤😊. Beavers are protected here too. It is against the law here to hurt or kill them. If there are too many beavers in one area, the Beaver Trust moves some whole families to new locations. If there were a bad situation where beavers have to be culled, it can only be done with government permission and licences. Thankfully that is not an issue because so much is being done to manage the beavers and the humans around them.
@@snowysnowyriver I am very happy about this positive development 🍀🦫
Hopefully there will be a lot of beavers soon and may they be safe and happy 🙏
I'm so glad to see you answer all of our questions.
Thank you Holley for explaining the Beaver introduction process. You take such amazing care of Tulip, Petunia and Stormy!! Love them all so much, I know you do so much!!!!!
Thank you for all the wonderful scholarly work you do for these beautiful babies. You are amazing!
Thank you Holley for this informative video (you feel free to ramble along, love this). I appreciate your scientific approach to securing the future of beaver proliferation through education. Thanks for all involved in this endeavor.
Thank you for the very thorough update on Petunia, Stormy, Tulip and the land project. You and your family are doing great work looking after these precious creatures.
You're such a good and knowledgeable mother, Dr. Muraco ❤. You sure do put a lot of care and thought into making sure everyone is healthy and getting along, God bless you and yours ✝️🥺💖🌈
Thank you so much holly very informative! my grandson enjoys watching❤️👍
Tulip trying to get some attention...
PRICELESS.
Outtakes and bloopers?
The videos in which you explain behaviors and the science and plans are honestly my favorite.
Thank you Holley
Thank you!! Very informative!!
Hi there, Holley! 😀
Thanks for your update and the information you shared; very informative and much appreciated. 👍💖
Wishing you all the best with your project.
Anna 🍃🌹🍃🍃
Thank you for the update, Dr. M! It's exciting to see your dreams grow into fruition! ⚘
Tulip was ready for you to swim with her. I kept watching her floating in and out of view. Looks relaxing
For some reason that I can't explain, Petunia strikes me as psychologically well-adjusted and super-intelligent.
Thank you, Holley for all your efforts and for keeping us all up to speed on the beavers progress and your future plans for their future😊
I do not know but Tulip might be bonded with you and your family for her life and actually with her tender back might not be a bad thing.
She sure loves you and your crew and feels like a family member😊
Petunia is such a cute fiesty little one.
Stormy still seems so standoffish.
You are doing such wonders with them all.
Thank you for the update. You and your boys are doing a wonderful job 😊
Thanks for the video. I appreciate your letting us know your short and longer term ideas. You obviously are very committed to giving these orphans the best life they can have. Best of luck to you and the future of your rescue.
The "Star" of the show is right behind you!!!
I have to add, that it’s exciting to be part of this process, even from afar. ❤❤
Thank you for the informative video, Holley!!!
Sending best wishes that all goes smoothly with your plans and that Tulip, Petunia and Stormy fall absolutely in love with each other and become a healthy, happy beaver family❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for all the information, it was very informative. Good luck with your goals
Thank you Holley!!! 😀
Really excited to see what happens and hoping that all the lady beavers get along well with one another.
You're the best, Dr. Holley! ❤ I'm excited to see how the plan and beaver intros play out, and thrilled that Stormy will get to stay on your land! (Tulip photo bombing you at 1:39 😂😂😂 )
I was laughing at that too. Plus Tulip was eavesdripping on Holley’s plans!!!
@@doc5701 😄👍
Dr. Holley, your dreams and plans are wonderful. I think you can do it! We will all be cheering you on, giving you our unsolicited advice and love for you and our beautiful precocious beavers. Like so many here my day feels incomplete if I don't have me some Tulip, Petunia and Sandy
Sorry you're all thinking "who's Sandy? I meant Stormy of course.
Did I understand Holley correctly that she wants to build a big fence to keep the beavers from escaping?
I hope Tulip stays close to the family forever because she is so sensitive.
Holley, I think with your background, you are approaching this wonderfully. You have extensive knowledge on animal behavior, grants and funding, research opportunities, etc. All will help get the sanctuary where you want it and maintain ongoing projects. Hopefully, other states will be able to provide release sites in the future. Beavers need to be reestablished in many states to balance the ecosystem. Sounds like you have solid goals, keep up the good work. Tulip, nice photobomb!!
Thank you grandson
Smile…thank you!…all very wonderful and so grateful for the update!❤
Thanks so much for sharing your beaver plan. Those sweet beavers are so fortunate to be in your care! Hopefully you will learn a lot about beaver life and behavior and be able to share that knowledge with other scientists. Keep up the great work! 💕

Thank you, Holley. Good news for the beavers 💖
Thank you thank you Holly for all you do. Sharing info and updates
So so cute Tulip in the pool behind u. Listening as u talk
Thank you for your thoughtful video. So much to consider taking care of these beavers....we see them as sweet and cuddly, but know there is so much more to their lives. With your knowledge and devotion, I'm confident you will find the best way to help them live their lives.
Omg Tulip is so cute
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on how you want things to go. I would comment it's tricky to put Tulip with her sensitive damaged back in the same area as other beavers that might accidentally hurt her. Stormy is still an unknown and again she might not be able to cope with other beavers. Petunia is the lucky one, so healthy and happy, she should do well, with your help and patience, to have a long life and maybe find a mate in the wild.
No rambling. It's all very interesting and, as a former researcher, I like that you're in mostly uncharted territory and have a lot to look forward to. That's what it's all about! And you get to care for these wonderful critters at the same time. I admire you.
This was so interesting that it seemed to last for 60 seconds.
A legacy is unfolding and we get to see it happen. 👌

How true!!!
Thanknyou so muchbfor sharing your amazing plans.
Thank you so much for sharing your short and long term plans for your property as it relates to these precious babies in your care!! You rock Holley ❤❤❤
Thank you so much for these explanations, Holley! I love listening to your plans, philosophy, and justifications. Your approach as a scientist always makes great sense. And it's fascinating to hear about your elaborate plans for the property and how you intend on developing it for the benefit of the beavers. It's fabulous to hear about all your projects and then see you in action. You are making your ambitious dream come true, and it's a joy to watch it all unfold. Thanks again, Holley, for such an informative and interesting video!
Wonderful work you are doing Holley. 😊❤😊
Very interesting!! Love the beavers, but greatly appreciate hearing more from you. Will be extremely informative to watch and learn how things progress over time.
Thank you so much!! While I love watching the beavers, my nerdy science innards needs to know these answers & plans. Because you’re literally writing the book on rescued beavers, I hope someone is documenting all of this. Nova?! NatGeo? A children’s book?!
Best wishes Dr. Muraco. You’re the best! 😇
She’s documenting it. Right now. Like she said. You’re watching the documentation and she’s keeping her records.
Thank You for All Your Knowledge Caring And
The Journey You are Taking Us All On
You Are An Incredibly amazing

❤❤😊😊
Thank You 😊
Holley, you are so incredible! Thank you so much for the work you do for these incredible creatures! I love hearing about the plans for the future!
Thank you Holley for sharing your thoughts and goals. To know that future beavers will be able to go through soft-release right there on your land is wonderful.
It was wonderful to hear your plans. Little beavers will be so well taken care of 💖
Thanks Holley for all you do. I love your videos and knowing what is going on!! They are the luckiest beavers!!
Thank you for your great Videos 🫂 And all for your commitment and your time 👱😘❤️
You're doing everything well💐
Thank you so much for the update! Obviously I'm here for the 'Banana Tantrums' and 'Tiny Fuzzy Beaver Potato Wrestles Toy Bunny' - content but it is so interesting to get more background info from you and what the plans are for introductions and eventual release.x
Very interesting to hear your long-term goals, Holley. Those precious little beavers are in such wonderful hands! Thank you to you and your family ❤❤❤
Ummm Tulip well behaved??? Except banana and watermelon tantrums. 🤣😂😆 We understand and love 💕 her anyway.
Your plans sound great! Exciting to see how it progress.
You certainly have your work cut out.
You really need a dating app for Beavers,it would be far easier to match them up .
My money is on Petunia being the boss no matter who she is put with.🤭
Instead of swipe, they sniff. 😅
Thank you - it's so interesting to hear your thoughts and plans for the future of these amazing animals 💚
Soft releases are my favorite!!! Hands down the most effective and safest way. I love when it's up to the animal. When they feel safe and confident enough to be wild and free, or just stay spoiled and safe. ❤ Can't wait to see the improvements. Thank you SO much everyone that donates. Love hearing the answers to many things I've been wondering about. I also hope that they become a very happy beaver family ❤️. Stormy I'm sure will take a bit, but she's already been sniffing at Tulip and I remember a video where Tulip was very curious about Stormy's enclosure. Tulip definitely seems to agree with all your plans 😂 Popping in for kisses and camera time. She's got day shift, Stormy will have the night shift!
Great video! Thank you for sharing your thought process and upcoming plans for the sanctuary. Hi Tulip!! 🦫
Thanks for the wealth of information!!
Enjoyed hearing about the upgrades..
🌸🌸🌸
Thank you Holley for explaining to us all, it’s so fascinating as here in the UK 🇬🇧 they have recently re-introduced beavers to see how they help with the environment, so we don’t really know a lot! ❤❤❤
You are the best!!! ❤❤❤
I suppose beavers come from family lines like humans. It would be interesting to study beaver heritage sometime. Thanks for the update Holley. Like everyone else, I learn so much when you share your knowledge.
Jameson is his name he didn’t finish comment😊
Thank you so much for this update info. Best of luck!
Thank you for letting us know what your game plan is, I found it very interesting and can't wait to see your progress!
Holley, this is such interesting research. With the different situations of Tulip, Stormy, and Petunia, are you planning on microchipping them or figuring out how to track them when they are in the three-acre “soft” release enclosure? I wish we could know where Tater and Turnip are. Do you think Tulip is or will be sufficiently “separated and individuated” from you (a substitute parent who got her through very serious illness) that she will want to leave you as part of a beaver family? And will you let us know when your charity status is resolved, so I can start donating? Thank you so much, especially on behalf of this amazing species!
That was very informative. Now please pay some attention to Tulip.
Tulip prowling behind you😂😂
I Love to hear you Tslk
Your knowledge is incredible
Please keep tslking
So we understand
Always listening and lookingfor are friends😅
I hope someday you can go swimming with Tulip.
I wish I could win the lottery or something , I have no real interest in money as such , as long as bills are paid and I have what I need my main hobby would be donating to animals and visiting the animals on youtube to see what is needed.
Thank you for explaining your plans and how you will integrate the beavers , I really hope it goes well , beavers seem to have a gentle nature on the whole but then I've not seen them aggressive and I guess they have sharp teeth so it's always best to go with caution.
I've introduced two cats , I have a male British shorthair and 6 months later I really felt needed another cat to help him settle , he had been left for a year being left for long periods alone by his previous owner , unfortunately I probably didn't go slow enough and when I got the female British shorthair I introduced them immediately, while there isn't any aggression, aside from the male not really understanding he is being rough , sadly they don't groom each other or sleep near each other, they really are two separate cats sharing the same place which has upset me a bit , so I guess the introductions with wild beavers needs to be slow and that will hopefully see them a family.
Maybe you should try pheromones. Kevin Richardson managed to get 2 old lions to accept one another, which is a major achievement
This was excellent. So informative. Thanks so much for all you do. ❤🦫
Would you mind doing a recap video sometime talking about previous animals you've had and where they ended up? Didn't know you previously had all those other beavers.
I will plan to do that. My first set of orphan beavers were Huck, Finn and sawyer. They just turned 2 years old and are living a great life as educational ambassadors. Huck had some medical issues and they all were bonded so it was determined that would be the best option. Next we’re tater, turnip and tulip. Tater and turnip bonded and grew up fast. We moved them from our suburban home to our new country property. I went out to check on them and they were gone without a trace. I remain hopeful that they are living in the swamps and creeks out here. I may never know what happened. I still have Tulip and she just turned one year. And new to me in 2024 are petunia and stormy. It’s a lot of work but we are determined to have our beaver sanctuary that can be home to any beaver in need and a safe place for release
I would suggest going back and binge watching the channel from a year ago. You will find the beaver interaction and behaviors very interesting such as the Sumo wrestling and Sweet Potato singing.
@@hmuraco Thank you for the great summary! Now that you have all the cameras, its going to be harder for the mischievous buggers to sneak off in the middle of the night!
