Again, great job....it's also the first time I've seen this kit built. Wonder if it's a re-pop of the Super Model series of Italian kits. Started buying kits back in '74 and Super Model was basically the only ones producing WW 2 Italian aircraft at the time.

Hello Vance, I'm aware of some of the issues of this kit, however please bear in mind that I built this several years ago and I may have forgotten some of the difficulties. Looking at the slides the top half of the engine nacelle was surely too short (taper) when compared to the upper trailing edge of the wing. This could not be overcome so easily and in the end I left it as it was, just sanding the half to sit tighter on the surface. Alternatively one could try to reshape the trailing end of the nacelle using milliput. I am not aware of any after market replacements but there could well me some nowadays, for it. Good luck with your build of this interesting aircraft, what I call the RA's 'Avro Anson'.
Thanks for the reply! I was just playing with the parts last night, tried sliding the dry-fitted nacelle onto the wing as suggested by the instructions & immediately thought that is NOT going to work!
You're right, its a tough decision to make. The sand coloured livery will only bring out the defect further, I would have liked to have the desert livery but the kit's shortcoming made me think twice and in the end settled for the green which somewhat hides it at first glance.
