BTW: Meshing Cogs can be good 3-star light cone for energy, so a decent option if needed
STRONG BUILD FOR FAST ULTS: 2pc Vonwacq or Penacony + Meshing Cogs S5 or Memory S5 + ERR Rope. More info in a future guide, but a very strong build for energy!

Well, just like them, they want to 'squish' the 'squishy' fox
It doesnt say anywhere in the game preservation is likely to get attacked more i think its just a misconception ppl have because of gepards trace and some light cones.
@@BogzySama I believe it’s a hidden stat of the characters, same applies to Destruction characters
@@BogzySama Data miners have already confirmed and calculated taunt/aggro values since the beta. You don't need Gepard, just basic statistical analysis running characters and classes over and over. Which is actually kinda easy as you can rerun Simulated and Forgotten levels forever. However, other than Fire MC's taunt, which is a debuff, there is still RNG. I run a March/Clara team and you'll still see a leaked attack on someone else every so often even with stacked shield/ult on Clara.
I love it when I enter a battle and Tingyun or Bronya instantly die after getting attacked twice by some fat bastard. It's so fun.

The lighting dmg you do while attacking with another character is considered lighting yes but does not affect the toughness bar so you will not be breaking shields with it
thanks for pointing this out! although tbh my point of tingyun being able to (slowly) widdle down at shields still stands, as she will end up basic attacking 1-2 times per skill, generally.

Got Tingyun on the standard randomly, realized how broken she is. I decided to pull for Jing Yuan and now that she's said to be one of the 4* star rate-ups in there, I'm getting some of her Eidolons.
Update: She's E3 now and oh my god this unit is broken

Thanks so much for all your amazing guides! They've helped me so much in my gameplay with genshin and star rail. Could you do a video some time about what break effect, effect res, spd, etc etc do? I.e. the specific gameplay and stats in star rail, relics, how to pair them with different elements and paths, etc, for someone who's never played genshin or star rail before. That would be super helpful, smth I can show my friends to hook them into playing the game too without fearing the learning curve.

Ever since I've gotten Tingyun, she's been so useful. I actually really like to use her in a hypercarry Hunt comp with either Dan Heng, or my recently gotten Yanqing. She, Bronya, and Natasha are carrying my DPS's right now.

I love her so much. Was lucky enough to not only get her on the Standard Banner, but also Bronya's light cone, which is Tingyun's best in slot. I always prefer to get good weapons or cons for the charas I play (instead of new charas), so I'm happy!

Yes please. Team building guide. But also like, literally any guide you can think of whether it’s more unit guides, general tips for progression and material management, how certain stats work, etc. Can’t go wrong with anything you put out since you’re reliable. And really tall

i find that having my tingyun as a higher speed than my seele while using bronya light cone is the most efficient, you get to use tingyun skill/ult when the fight starts, thn go into seele with the max buffs from everything.
these guide videos show me that this man is a whole different person when he streams.

I'm not big on support characters, for me, I like dealing dmg, healing if i need it, and getting the job done. I only leveled my Bronya up to 20 just for the free wish. BUT TINGYUN WAS A GAME CHANGER. She is gladly one of the strongest characters I have. She has around 800 atk and gives such big buffs to my other characters. I'm trailblaze level 30 so I have a long way to go, but she is OP at the most.

I think the wind dmg bonus relic is BiS for all harmony supporters of any element because it moves you 25% up after your ultimate. Just think about it., if you're not dying the HP is basically null and 8% atk is only relevant for 1 or maybe 2 characters since the rest aren't going to have high atk.
25% up on the speed up every few turns is better than 8% atk for your carry, specially if you're stacking regen which you should.

If i use tingyun (w/bronya's light cone), and then use bronya - will the buff of the 2 light cones stack on the character after bronya? Thank you so much for your reply.

It is the hunt path resonance in SU, you can have more than one resonance buff of the same path if you unlock the the extra resonance buff in the SU skill tree.

Her E1 could in theory make some light cones that depend on move-order less viable. Unless you run 2 dps or stack even more speed on her. I was thinking about getting the Past and Future light cone yesterday but idk..

My luck in this game is abysmal.
Gepard off the introductory banner at 50, Gepard off limited banner at 78, Clara's lightcone at 76 on standard. I appreciate Gepard...he's a great shielder, and is probably why I have been able to clear stuff that others who don't have Gep haven't.
I never felt the desire to reroll in Genshin. This game makes me want to reroll, especially knowing that I have chewed up almost all the easy sources of currency.
Maybe I will somehow land Seele before she leaves.

Just started playing bout 5 days I luckily pulled her in the beginning warp package (where you get 10 warp pulls for 8 and get a 5 star at 50 I also got the ice preservation 5 star guy which was pretty good) but yeah she pulls thru for me even thou I have no healer atm running her with Mt tank to get his ultimate back so I can shields on everyone faster is very usefull
After 10 eidolons for characters that I might not even use, loved this guide for a character I somehow still don't own.
Quick question, what’s better; a shielder or a healer? Been using March on every team but thinking of using Natasha now since she’s C4
Healer is better because some content later on can burn shields quite easily so Natasha and normally another Healer are used for tackling said content as Heals are calculated based on the unit HP so with a high HP stat, a nice cure percentage stat and decent Def stat, healers can take some hits as well without dying that easily which is why they normally go besides the tank in order to soak AoE splash damage.
March 7th is nice in a way but the issue with her is that she has an internal aggro mechanic in her shield so whomever she shields will draw the enemy attention. Again in some content this is like "kill my character" kinda deal which sucks a lot so normally you wanna use a Tank and shield the tank afterwards so the aggro goes to them and not the squishy unit u have shielded on the past turn.
But if u really want a shield with no string attached, Gepard is so far the best one for that, he is a tank with passive aggro mechanic so normally all attacks go to him and with an aggro lightcone only rarely your other characters will be targeted, same happens with Fire MC but sadly his shields are low so they are more like a nifty thing rather than something to rely on. His shield is beefy and party wide so with Energy Regeneration and the unit in the vid, you can spam his ultimate for some decent ice damage and party shields.
Thinking of running a starter team of Silver Wolf, Qingque, Tingyun, and Natasha. What do you think?
Finally got her rn now on standard banner after playing since the release😭
Just got her yesterday, and I compared my seele's ult dmg as follows:
With bronya only (skill+ultimate) = 17k crit hit
With bronya and tingyun (skill+ultimate) = 30k crit hit
note: my Bronya has her signature light cone and my tingyun is using past and future light cone
If your seele have her light cone banner, use tingyun, asta, bronya to seele = wtf!!!
I'm currently tl 45 and i got 8 character build up to max but their traces are lvl 3-4 but my main dps which is jing yuan have max traces but i do want to build tingyun but i dont have any exp book and lc mats so should i focus on traces farm then build tingyun? I don't really want to use fuel rn
I was happier to get Tingyun in my first 10 pull than getting my first 5 star (Gepard) lol but yeah Tingyun really is that good damage buffer
