When Orro is having a good day, Italy can’t be stopped. Her defense and blocks were on point this match. Bosetti didn’t have her best night but Sylla and Degradi stood up. Fahr was OK but Danesi’s wall always comes through. Moki and Egonu, i have no words, they’re just the best in their positions. Kudos to Giovannini, i didn’t know who she was but she’s been a silent hero, in the last few matches she’s come in at certain moments to stabilize Italy’s defense. Velasco’s been doing a great job so far, he’s very smart and experienced but most of all, he’s kind to his players, he cares, you can tell this man loves his job. Congratulations, Italy, i knew right from the start you were gonna be in the finals.

Because of the crazy planning by FIVB, both teams were tired. Italy luckily only played 3 sets yesterday. Today we truly see Paola Power!! I really wish the Olympics is now because she is in great form at the moment. I hope it continues for the rest of the summer. Italy is playing well. Quello che traspare è una grande tranquillità nell’ambiente e la consapevolezza della propria forza che dimostrano le ragazze. Mostruoso il livello di muro e la correlazione muro difesa, solo il Brasile ha un livello analogo di questi due fondamentali. Velasco preferisce Fahr a Lubian perché garantisce un livello di muro superiore, anche se in questa maniera ci giochiamo la possibilità della fast a un piede e di conseguenza l’attacco Y di Egonu . Con un muro del genere le squadre avversarie sono costrette a forzare molto in attacco con un conseguente elevato numero di errori vedi Polonia oggi. In difesa anche quando cadono i palloni ci sono sempre almeno due ragazze che tentano di prenderlo . Egonu pare definitivamente aver indossato la maglia con la S di Superwoman è una sicurezza senza più gli errori eccessivi che avevamo visto anche in campionato. Antropova ,quando entra , dà sempre un contributo positivo e sempre con il sorriso sulle labbra, grande. Degradi si dimostra una degna sostituta di una Bosetti forse un po’ stanca. Propositi per il futuro Degradi e Sylla continuano a fare a cazzotti in ricezione su alcune battute , quindi su questo fronte si può migliorare ed Orro in qualche alzata non è sempre precisissima ma anche qui parliamo di poche alzate. Se continuano con questo tasso di miglioramento e non succedono imprevisti credo che potremo dire la nostra per la vittoria finale alle olimpiadi

Mostruoso il livello di muro e la correlazione muro difesa, solo il Brasile ha un livello analogo di questi due fondamentali.
Velasco preferisce Fahr a Lubian perché garantisce un livello di muro superiore, anche se in questa maniera ci giochiamo la possibilità della fast a un piede e di conseguenza l’attacco Y di Egonu . Con un muro del genere le squadre avversarie sono costrette a forzare molto in attacco con un conseguente elevato numero di errori vedi Polonia oggi.
In difesa anche quando cadono i palloni ci sono sempre almeno due ragazze che tentano di prenderlo .
Egonu pare definitivamente aver indossato la maglia con la S di Superwoman è una sicurezza senza più gli errori eccessivi che avevamo visto anche in campionato.

Degradi si dimostra una degna sostituta di una Bosetti forse un po’ stanca.
Propositi per il futuro Degradi e Sylla continuano a fare a cazzotti in ricezione su alcune battute , quindi su questo fronte si può migliorare ed Orro in qualche alzata non è sempre precisissima ma anche qui parliamo di poche alzate. Se continuano con questo tasso di miglioramento e non succedono imprevisti credo che potremo dire la nostra per la vittoria finale alle olimpiadi

Nie spodziewałam się, że to z Brazylią będziemy grać o brąz. Myślałam, że Brazylia będzie grała o złoto, a tu taka niespodzianka. Prawda jest taka, że dla Polek mecz o brąz jest bardzo dużym sukcesem. Trener Lavarini zbudował naprawdę fajny zespół ale jeszcze dużo brakuje nam do najlepszych.
