I don’t expect it to be much different than my triax but that’s at 83.5 lb draw if this bow can bring me speeds close at 75 lb draw that’s awesome I really want to get an APA with 80 lb limbs though
Sick bow I’ve been looking at these the last few years, they look so cool, I would be interested in seeing that rest in action in some slow motion, it looks crazy
Agreed I enjoy all my Mathews bows as well but needed to try something else it’s just been same old same old with Mathews last couple years I really want to start testing several new bows a year then do a giveaway with those that I don’t keep after I’m done with them, it will be fun
I’m curious to see the down the road review of this bow!! Iv always been a Mathews fan I have jumped around a few times over the years just to try different things elite Hoyt and a bow tech!! By far I hated the bow tech from day one I kept that bow for a week and traded it back in where I got it and always end up going back to Mathews over and over to the point now I don’t even look at the other brands anymore!!
You will love it i have been shooting apa for years only bows i recommend i shoot mamba air tf along with most of my friends super simple with lots of features that nobody else has and customer service is second to none if you call the company the owner answers the phone and will happily help you with anything you need

We offer APA at Brush Mountain Archery in central Pa. They’re a very good pure hunting bow. By chance, did you get a chance to try the Xpedition X-Lite series before you made your decision on your APA?
I’ve shot xpedition years back and hated the draw cycle have not shot anything newer yet I do plan on testing more brands of bows as we go forward though!
That bow if it said Mathews would be the best selling bow of all time. I shoot the V3X, Bowtech Sr6 right now but i have owned a 100 bows over the years and apa has been a bow i have been wanting to purchase, great looking bow and light, once you get it dialed in it will shoot just as accurate as any other bow on the market. Good luck with it this year.
How is that bowtech SR6? Moose is looking at one! And I agree to many people read the brand and that’s where the performance comes from This apa has been awesome shooting as I’ve got 75+ arrows through it moose shot it last night and was very impressed with it as well
@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA To me it's the best bowtech made smooth draw at 72.8 lbs and you can tune them to hit 345 30/70/350 grain. I own 4 of them, you can buy some really nice ones cheap on archery talk. Smoother and faster than my Mathews V3X 29 and super accurate.
@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA $350-400 bucks a bow hard to beat them tune down the middle of the limb bolts, some guys get 347-348fps best way to tune that bow with the right serving size on the aftermarket strings by catfish custom
Nice bow. You did good. None of the top brands are making fast bows right now, unless you want to drop $2 grand on a Matthews Monster Safari. I like my compound bow to be fast and heavy.
I’m unsure if I’ll ever find a bow I like better than my triax with wake limbs it’s such the perfect bow but this one is finally letting me test the brand I’ve been watching for years, so many killer features!
@ yep. You can get an 80 pound module for the Lift, but the 70 pound APA is just as powerful. I feel like the industry is moving away from heavy speed bows because the main customer base gets their wittle feewings hurt when they lack the strength or the skill to use a heavy bow with aggressive cams and a short brace. I still shoot a 80 pound PSE Xpedite NXT. At my draw it chronoed 454 grains 329 feet per second. Chronographed 652 grains 275. It gives me max confidence. My arrows shatter bones 👌. APA is on my radar.
@bryanheimann5370 I’m with you, I like heavier draw weights, I really want the APA king cobra DG in 80 lb lions badly or even 90 lb limbs ahahah it’s easy to draw and I can really build some killer arrows for it
i own many different brands of bows and although i hunt with mathews that doesnt mean i wouldnt use something else. mathews bows just feel better to me but not going to lie the mamba looks awesome but it looks like a hoyt and if it feels like a hoyt i know i wont like it. does it feel like a hoyt ?

Buy whatever bow you like, but for me the draw cycle for me was the reason I went with what I did, I couldn't imagine myself buying a bow on stats alone. I always told my kids when buying shoes (especially for sports) pretend that you're blind and let your feet tell you what feels the best, and for me buying a bow is the same way- personal feel.
Well yes just in this case I couldn’t shoot it before, I just liked the design & features the speed wasn’t what drew me to it And I am not disappointed at all, draws smooth it’s dead quiet flat shooting and I really enjoy the grip on it
@ prime nexus is what I’m shooting. I believe it’s 4 years old now. But I’ve killed a handful of bucks in Massachusetts with it so can’t spend the dough on newer. Definitely nicer lighter bows out there. I’m a little more limited on bow options 6’ 4” and long arms so my draw is long.
Cool bow but I wouldn't ever want that, I'm looking for just the opposite bow this year, I think I'm going to get bowtech SX 80 or Mach 33 in 80 lbs, I'm wanting something for over 100 yard shots and that bow won't be good shooter at long ranges. Looks like the old bows from early 2000s . I'm wanting a 3D and hunting bow. That bow is for really short shoots with that crazy reflex

It’s a smooth cycle I really like it, I was referring to all the reviews I seen bashing the draw cycle I see nothing I don’t like in it yet after 50 arrows so far
You just pulled your bow back without an arrow in it, making folks that don't know any better to think it's ok. I see threads show up almost every day where someone dry-fired their bow because they drew it without an arrow and release went off or d-loop failed. You should be warning your viewers NOT to do what you did. Not good.
I did draw it back without an arrow with it was it the right thing to do nope but with that scale the only way it could dry fire is if the brand new d-loop failed which I doubt One of the only times I’ve ever drew a bow without an arrow on cam but I disagree it doesn’t show anyone it’s the right thing to do

@@Shawnbo812 Sure looks like it!
Well send me your matthews it’ll go to good use I swear. I’m using an old bow.
I’ll never get rid of my triax with wake limbs ever not sure it won’t be what I stay hunting with yet
Diamond infinite edge pro by bow tech is what I’m using from 2015. It ain’t smoking fast but it shoots straight.
@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA well if you ever decide to change your mind let me know I’ll pay shipping or whatever it takes
That triax will never be sold, I love that bow was the first to put wake limbs on it dang thing was a trend setter!
Hell ya man! 🔨🔨
Draw cycle…. Not that bad?? And your leaving your Mathews!?!?
It’s a smooth cycle I really like it, I was referring to all the reviews I seen bashing the draw cycle I see nothing I don’t like in it yet after 50 arrows so far
Some folks have more money than common sense 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Well that’s not hard anymore as common sense is more uncommon than common
Can i have your old mathews? 😢
No lol
That bow ain’t going anywhere
That’s a sexy looking bow, maybe that one will blow through your socks!
I fear no socks with this one! Or my triax with any other Broadhead 🤣🤣
Mathews is over rated tons great bows out now days
Agreed!
You just pulled your bow back without an arrow in it, making folks that don't know any better to think it's ok. I see threads show up almost every day where someone dry-fired their bow because they drew it without an arrow and release went off or d-loop failed. You should be warning your viewers NOT to do what you did. Not good.
I did draw it back without an arrow with it was it the right thing to do nope but with that scale the only way it could dry fire is if the brand new d-loop failed which I doubt
One of the only times I’ve ever drew a bow without an arrow on cam but I disagree it doesn’t show anyone it’s the right thing to do
Must be for marketing definitely a down grade for sure
Definitely not a downgrade at all actually very much the opposite
But explains how this would be for marketing?
Resale value..$0
Already have it sold if i choose tooo for more than I paid sooooo….
This comment failed 🤣🤣🤣🤣
