    I hope you enjoy it. I'm excited to see what the speed difference is.
    Might not be as much as you expect? If there is 10 pounds difference in pulling weight.
    Im not sure if they really hit 360 fps 30"@70/350.

      I don’t expect it to be much different than my triax but that’s at 83.5 lb draw if this bow can bring me speeds close at 75 lb draw that’s awesome

    I shoot the V3X, Bowtech Sr6 right now but i have owned a 100 bows over the years and apa has been a bow i have been wanting to purchase, great looking bow and light, once you get it dialed in it will shoot just as accurate as any other bow on the market.

      I’m unsure if I’ll ever find a bow I like better than my triax with wake limbs it’s such the perfect bow but this one is finally letting me test the brand I’ve been watching for years, so many killer features!

    • @bryanheimann5370
      @bryanheimann5370 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @ yep. You can get an 80 pound module for the Lift, but the 70 pound APA is just as powerful. I feel like the industry is moving away from heavy speed bows because the main customer base gets their wittle feewings hurt when they lack the strength or the skill to use a heavy bow with aggressive cams and a short brace.
      I still shoot a 80 pound PSE Xpedite NXT. At my draw it chronoed 454 grains 329 feet per second. Chronographed 652 grains 275. It gives me max confidence. My arrows shatter bones 👌. APA is on my radar.

    Buy whatever bow you like, but for me the draw cycle for me was the reason I went with what I did, I couldn't imagine myself buying a bow on stats alone. It costs 1,700.00…..thats crazy, $400 more than the current Matthew’s hunting bow. I could spend $400 more and get their current target bow, never heard of APA myself but can’t justify spending that much on unproven company. People are trying to make their money stretch farther these days, I’m curious what percentage of the cost is in the bells and whistles of the bow?

    • @BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA
      @BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA  หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      They aren’t an unproven company because you don’t know them
      They’ve been making killer bows for a long time and they are feature rich built to simplify tuning for the user and for me personally I’d save money being able to tune the bow and do anything I need to it myself in less than a years time just from gas prices to drive to my bow shop near me let alone the cost to have things done there so actually this is a far cheaper option for me personally
      I can see the cost difference very easily and have for years, but I have unbiased eyes which makes it easy to, happy to finally pulled the trigger on one to test!

I love how it carries and @ 31.5" 84# it sends 625ish grain arrow over 300fps i shot a 400gr arrow through the chono just to see what it would do it was 376fps but it is super finicky seems to always come out of tune and while the slim build is nice carrying its super easy to torque your form better be spot on if you plan to shoot a fixed head, there is a reason top target bow limbs look like a 1x6 with a cam in the middle. They can be awesome they just require someone who is on top of things and likes to tinker not for someone lazy.

      Actually no…
      The gas I save from not having to drive 40 minutes to a bow shop to have anything done on it and saving the cost of having work done to it actually saves me money extremely fast especially with how much testing we will be doing with new bows etc
      I’ll gladly pay this and save long term

  • @dewboy910

    You just pulled your bow back without an arrow in it, making folks that don't know any better to think it's ok. I see threads show up almost every day where someone dry-fired their bow because they drew it without an arrow and release went off or d-loop failed. You should be warning your viewers NOT to do what you did. Not good.

    • @BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA
      @BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I did draw it back without an arrow with it was it the right thing to do nope but with that scale the only way it could dry fire is if the brand new d-loop failed which I doubt
      One of the only times I’ve ever drew a bow without an arrow on cam but I disagree it doesn’t show anyone it’s the right thing to do
