Excellent work, with a CK. My 2 cents regarding the Mazda diesels: even for “experienced” car owners, our low quality diesel is the source of many problems, and we unfortunately cannot control that. So the DPF needs extra care. Good thing Mazda recognizes that and if you read their user manuals, they have an alternative service schedule for owners in Africa. The head gasket problem of the 2.2 diesel - even after fitting the upgraded gasket, you still need to be very keen on inspecting your coolant (daily) for the early signs of gasket failure. This, in my opinion, cancels out the thrill of the drive. The constant worry, glancing at the instrument cluster for temperature warning every 14 seconds - afasali you get the 2.5L petrol. Keep doing what you do, with a CK.

The diesel axela uses the same 2200cc engine on the atenza and cx5 so expect head gasket problems just as experienced in the diesel cx5 and atenza.
