      Most likely not

Infinix is keeping the price down to about 80,000-96000 for different variants by using Mediatek Helio P35. Xiaomi used G90T on the Redmi note 8 Pro for just about the same amount. In my many seconds of being a tech enthusiast, this is the weakest excuse for inappropriateness I've heard!
Oh! And yeah, the price is up because of the motorised pop-up camera and the Corning gorilla glass back.

LOL! ...and the way you keep iterating the FHD+ screen though. That's a new high? The phone is good but the pricing sucks.

Yeah the pricing sucks but its not their fault. The Redmi note 8 Pro 128+6GB is N148k and thats shipping from abroad. If you're buying from nigeria its even more. The 64+6GB variant goes for N138k. Bro these phones are quite expensive. Everyone hates that these phones are this expensive and i hate it too. But what do you think these phone manufacturers can do to bring the prices down seeing how the dollar exchange rate in Nigeria is sky high?
Truth is that's how Tecno and Infinix keep their prices low. They use these older ports and chips. Its painful but its the truth

Yeah, I get the need to make compromises to keep prices down but toying on the technological intelligence of people isn't the way to go. There are phones with relatively better chipsets with better pricing. It's becoming exploitation, really. A P60 on that would've been good enough.

@henryneo Redmi note 8 pro is actually 90k in Nigeria, Even mi 9t is not up to 148k.
