while testing full load current or full load voltage drop you should use high watt resistor otherwise it will be blowed off. if you don't have higher watt resistor use same resistors in parallel. what you used is called quarter watt resistor.

Bro,You mentioned to use 1 Ohm resistor to measure the IR.But when i connected the resistor with the prove and put it on the battery + - the resistor burned & no value was founded...please mention whether it's 1 ohm or 1k ohm correctly
Lots for device is there to measure IR which is used by large scale manufacturers, many study and experiment suggest that this method is also useful for IR. How ever you can share the details of any other method also...
To see if the battery is good or not, you should have told us what the correct Internal Resistance should have been to compare it with the measured and calculated Internal Resistance.

You can use 2 k ohm too. Put values in formula. It should be higher ohm resistor to avoid resistor burning.
