Yes Joan is doing so good! She almost died at birth and it was a struggle to get it all working, now she is a strong young lady 😊 Crazy right! I had to look back on older footage to see how much we already had done! That was so encouraging. Now looking forward on more planing on landscaping. We have a solar shower, but just really needed a cool down 😅 I felt great afterwards.

I enjoyed your video. It's great that you have a river nearby for hot days. You might consider planting more trees in your field (w/ chicken wire surround for goats) to help create more shade. Trees like oak, nut or fruit trees. Our California home was really hot in summers when we bought it 20 years ago so we planted trees on the west & south sides of our house. In a few years we had a micro-climate & our home stayed cooler than other homes. It really helps.

So refreshing ,,,,when I was a kid living in a village near Caramulo, in the summer school holidays ( 3 months) I went every single day to the river( in fact we had 2 small rivers, more like creeks... one in each side of the village) swimming ,fishing trouts and barbus... and sometimes catching eels....good times....🙂
