Great vid as always. I just wish fifa would improve the realism of the AI team’s behavior so that it would be even more rewarding to play like this. Would be amazing if they could ever figure out the coding necessary to make teams with signing restrictions only sign players from their area
I guarantee any half decent programmer with a tiny budget compared the the absolutely massive EA budget could easily implement transfer restrictions. So i’m sure EA could it’s just laziness

I’m doing an Athletic Bilbao career mode and I have some strict rules regarding the Youth Academy, since it is so important for them in real life (they mainly rely on their youth aside from 1-2 basque players signings from other teams every now and then). What I do is I only have one 5-star 5-star spanish scout and I send him to Spain and I sign only players that have either a basque Surname (In fifa 22 I found: Gorosabel, Arnáiz, Larrauri, Mendoza, Ayala, Aguirre, Vergara and Ortiz) or basque first name (such as: Unai, Ander, Aritz, Mikel, Andoni, Jon, Ager, Oier, and a few more). This way I think I keep it fully realistic since it makes sure they only scout in the Basque Country region of Spain, and not the whole Spain. Maybe it is a bit strict and hardcore for the casual Fifa player but It is fun to keep the ideals of the club and that way I also don’t get flooded with 10 +90 potential YA players which is very unrealistic. Feel free to try this idea for everyone that happens to see the comment! Keeping CM realistic it’s what makes it more engaging and fun
got massive respect for Athletic Bilbao. correct me if im worng, but i believe theyre the only club alongside barca and real to never have been relegated.

I had so much fun with my Sutton save and am now in the prem but I was a little impatient with my scouts not gonna lie so I bought 5 star 5 stars when I got to championship lol I think I’m going to go more retaliating when I do my next save. Probably someone battling in the relegation zone of efl 2 right now like oldham or Carlisle since BarfieBoy already is doing a scunny save lol
I'd say that depends on how easy or hard you want your save to be. I'd personally use the same star as my team... or maybe just have 1 scout that is 1 star higher if you're club star for a happy middle ground, so you have the hance of getting a good player but not all 3 scouts bringing in world beaters. Well they do have a category two academy which is good, but keep in mind that they are in 3rd division, so they might struggle to attract young talents in their academy compare to an academy category two club who is in the Championship or even PL. So basically I would say get a three stars MAX scout in the third and second division and then get a four stars scout once you are in PL and change for a five stars scout if you can maintain.

Imo you should only ever have one to two 1 star 1 star scouts. That way wonderkids are one in a couple hundred. Even players that are 81-85 are uncommon which imo is perfectly realistic. Also this way potential caps don’t need to exist
A bit off topic but what sliders do you use? Ive just found your channel and love other people who try to make fifa as realistic as possible. P.S. one thing i do is only put development plans on the youth academy... once theyre in the 1st team they go back to balanced and eithet get in my team or are loaned out. I find this helps with unrealistic growth of players.
I don't know, sometimes I find it okay to put dev plans on first team players since it helps to continue playing with some of the less popular footballers when you're really far in the save. It doesn't limit you to buying wonderkids when your older players retire

I've won the domestic double in the first season and the treble in the following one without any major signings and the profit was still 500+ mil each season
Doing a Iniesta Malaga career mode using 3 star youth scout for Japan and Spain . First I got a cb 17 year old with 67 overall and not even showing great potential so I figured maybe it's cos I got 3 star scouts and that's why . Then I got a 15 year old CDM converted him to CB after using fifa calculator and he's 16 now and PTBS. Since then I have Exciting prospect and another PTBS .I'm unsure when to promote because usually they ask right before the season ends and then they will be downgraded, that is why I use loan glitch
Question for Swansea AFC fans here (and also for anyone living in Swansea) So I've started a Swansea RTG career and I'm intending to make the team predominantly of welsh players (already got Joe Allen and David Brooks). My youth academy is mostly of welsh players and some americans too (since the owners are americans) My question is...what other minorities or foreign comunities are found in Swansea? I'd like to have youngsters or players from those comunities so they can be represented by them.
I was looking at the free agents in my reading career mode around season 4 and I found a 93 rated 20 year old free agent cf.I was stunned to say the least
@@masonclark9110 if you're on PC you can use mods to get an offer from a South American team. Other than that, there's really no other option. There's no African leagues so this challenge it's incompleteable anyways
Don't forget to sell your youth players when the right offer comes in. That way they won't reach 90 ovr playing for other clubs if their potential is somewhere in the 80s

The worst part is there are mods that do exactly that, so within their own coding it is already possible, they just haven't implemented it.
