Oh, oh and I almost forgot...the solar system tablet clearly shows differences in the various sizes of the planets. Based on the order, it details that Earth was bigger than Mars, Jupiter much larger than Mars and (Jupiter) just a bit bigger than Saturn, etc. Fun/debatable topic. Thank you all so much for watching. Many, many more videos to come - huge list awaits, and I will soon be able to upload more often! - Jimmy

The powers that be do not want the masses to be smart or educated. The world is actually still highly religious despite the rise of heretical atheists. Religion bought their power through control and scaremongering of the masses - they have their tentacles in our schools/hospitals/libraries etc, it's a behemoth of single mindedness. Slowly we unshackle these chains but it will take awhile to happen but people like Jimmy help us break through with insight! Love this stuff, keep it coming Jimmy - disclosure of all types will happen unless we end up in a nuclear pea soup!

My history teacher taught us about the Sumerians. He taught us a lot more then was required. He didn't like the textbooks because some of the most important things in history were not in the textbook. The Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade had one paragraph. However, there was a whole chapter describing what feudalism was.

Isn't that completely normal? Slavery has happened throughout history dating thousands and thousands of years back, I don't see why the Trans-Atlantic slave trade would need an entire chapter whereas Feudalism is actually vital for us to understand in order to understand the development of capitalism. Heck, if you want to understand why the Trans-Atlantic slave trade happened in the first place you need to understand feudalism and the economic incentives.
I understand why it may seem relevant to you if you're an American because "muh history" and understanding racial discrimination in society, but seriously, claiming that the slave trade deserves a whole chapter but not feudalism is fucking stupid and just proves how inept and ignorant you are (tbh fam). Can't learn about the slave trade without knowing the financial incentives.

I learned about the Sumerians for about 2 of my lessons, each being 3 hours long. My professor makes sure to tell us all about things that are being discovered recently and he even says "this isn't in your text books but this is something to think about..." and would continue to go way off topic, in terms of the book. Not every teacher or professor are the same and go everything by the book.

Im 27 and these days im a little bit scared of death simply because of all the beautiful potential i see in this world and human kind. We could literally build castles in the sky with strong engines and be more or less safe from what is propably coming in a couple of years or decades. But all i see is people still building houses on land or even near the ocean and i still see humans fight about resources and power. All i see is a Elon Musk building nonsense Rockets that will eventually put us on a really shitty planet called mars, those missions alone will propably most likely in the first years kill a shit ton of people up there. The answer is not another planet, the answer is right in front of us. Im living in germany and do not feel safe at all if i do not close my eyes for reality like most people do. I simply cant go back watching Netflix and playing videogames and work from home all day i feel like i need to change things. Why im telling you this? How does a 80 year old look at life and are you actually still scared of death?

Oh my Lord! You are seriously my new hero. I just discovered your channel a few days ago, and have been slowly absorbing your videos in my downtime. All of the topics I have watched you discuss thus far make total and complete sense. And I love how you use science to back it up. I guess what I am trying to say is that I have been fascinated with these topics of our early history for years... however, there really is not much info on these theories (which again make complete sense) our there. Not even on the internet. Most of the time when I roll across a video or essay that seems promising, it either reverts to a literal biblical interpretation, or a so far beyond belief science fiction / conspiracy theory that is just becomes unwatchable / unreadable within the first five minutes. Kudos to you, my friend. I am a fan of yours for life. And btw, I am a veteran of the same war as you. Cheers!!

Now on to the Sumerians... When i was young, around 7, i was very interested in Ancient Egypt and their culture. Also being taught in school that they were the first in all these aspects. Being somewhat of a history buff... I read a lot. I found a book that was basically an essay about 5000 BC to 1000 BC... Holy cow what an eye opener. Made me study more and more... I am commenting this lengthy due to my excitement that someone has a youtube channel and shares the same view not only on state controlled education... But obviously view on our government. Tossed a sub and a thumbs up... Excited to so more.

I can say, from more of an insider perspective (having worked with someone that had done translation of the Sumerian tablets), that the primary reason there’s so many lying around untranslated is that it’s difficult and because there is a very limited supply of people that can read them.

Uhhh, the thing on Pluto. It's designation was changed because they started to find other 'planets' that are bigger or close in size to Pluto(Eris being the first). The initial idea was to have Ceres, Eris, and Pluto's moon Charon (making pluto and charon twin planets) all planets as well, bringing the count to 12. Eventually they realized that if it kept going that way they would have hundreds of main planets. Many scientists in the field met in a conference to decide what exactly should be what characterizes a planet. Unfortunately Pluto was the only one of the original planets that didn't meet all 3 classifications and was thus relegated to a dwarf planet, along with the newly found Eris, Ceres and others.
This classification is purely for the scientists as it will help them with things like what to look for in other star systems, exoplanets, etc. Pluto is still out there, no one is denying it's existence, nothing has changed. If within conversation one still wants to consider Pluto a planet that's fine but just know that it's official classification has changed within the scientific community to make their lives easier.
There is nothing to 'grow up' about. The current experts on the subject, the ones who know a lot more than you on the topic, have decided to change it's classification as it's made the most sense to them. In the end though, having Pluto classified as a dwarf planet or just planet, changes nothing in reality. It's still a heavenly body with the same orbit, size, shape, density etc it's always had.

In Europe we are taught about them. We even learn in literature about "Epyc of Gylgamesh". You should read it. Its quite nice and really humbling to notice you read a story from 4000 years ago.
As for instruments. The oldest found flute was in modern Slovenia. Wiki search "Divje Babe Flute" aroudn 45000 BC.
For planets. You don't need telescopes to track planets. I don't know the English terms, but you have static and mobile stars. Mobile stars here are planets. Static stars are stars. You need a simple wooden plank with a scale on it and a few nails and you can track movements on. That is also how Tycho Brahe followed them and made the huge sets of data on all the planets for Copernicus to make his theory with.

Throughout history and even before that we've had different species of "humans" walk the earth like homo erectus, homo rudolfensis, homo ergaster and many more. The last of our siblings (homo floresnsies) died about 10,000 years ago. Our species differed, but we all fell under the umbrella of 'Humans'.

It depends on what type of history being taught. When it comes to world history in high school, there are a couple different versions usually most schools teach modern world history which is from the renaissance on up. We then have regular world history which cuts short all ancient world history except the egyptians, greeks, and romans. However AP World history easily covers the Sumerians. IB world history has focal points in its approach, like Revolutions, World Wars, or the Cold War.
But overall there is no cover up. It is ancient material and with all ancient material there is much we do not know. So in teaching schools typically focus more on the stuff we do know.

Every single one of those civilizations was better informed and possibly smarter in my opinion. They had knowledge that people today use computers for. Where would our civilization be without technology? I bet we wouldn't come close to becoming a great civilization with thousands of years under our belt. But the King's lists ( both sumerian and egyptian) tell us that both civilizations were around for quite a long time indeed. I applaud you for bringing this info to the masses! joshua Stanaway well to start. I'm just gonna say I'm glad I discovered Jimmy's channel. He's very interested in speaking and spreading the truth. Now as for what my job entailed me to do was just provide air defense, however I did maintenance on the Patriot system. I was only 20 when I joined back in 2006 so what I knew about the Iraq "conflict" was that we were helping provide support. Ok so here's the other side. There's an airbase in Qatar. The biggest in the middle East it's no secret. It's still there in full operation. Now what does Qatar have to do with the war anyway? Here's what they don't tell you. And what I learned. They are paying us to protect them. They have so much in minerals and fossil fuels to pay us with. And UAE and Saudi Arabia. Which I didn't know about until I started looking into it. I wasn't told any of this. And since AUAB is the biggest coalition force in the world pretty much. All the United Nations are there pretty much. Aussies Japanese Korean etc etc. Which is fine and all. But to fight isis and Al Qaeda who's technology spans from whatever arms dealers they got their shit from is nothing compared to these multi billion dollar systems. With which....have almost a 35% accuracy- which Raytheon and Lockheed won't tell in their websites-...we get paid to provide protection to these so called Democratic countries- and since the petrodollar is only good if countries recognize it there's no problem. Syria and Iraq and north Korea are definitely not about the petrodollar and neither is Russia or China. The turmoil in the middle East has become endless. Until those countries give up their oil and minerals. Now honestly I don't care if this is something that the masses are Not supposed to know. But if you hide the truth, is it still lying? That's my best response to this thread. And feel free to ask more if you'd like. Just look it up also Even wikipedia has some info. But Raytheon Lockheed and Boeing are the three biggest drains of taxpayer money and they need to be stopped. They get all these tax breaks and the tax payers get shit for healthcare and shit for representatives. And now we have Trump.

Every time there is a new textbook people show up to protest what is put in them. Whether I agree or disagree with someones philosophy or beliefs we should at least be teaching the truth.

I think it is only American curriculum that don't teach Sumerians. In my country (Turkey) we learn Sumerians and the other contemporary civilizations extensively (even to a point that they invented beer :) )
Before Copernicus, the muslim scholars already knew about earth's rotation around the sun and even invented telescope (see Al Khwarizm and Ibn al Shatir). And those muslim scholars never shied away saying that they were inspired and in most cases learned from antique civilizations. That means older civilizations were more developed than we give them credit for.
When Europe was so backwards, eastern nations were thriving with knowledge during the middle ages. However the elitism of western leaders/scholars didn't let them acknowledge their predecessors. That way of thinking is still prevalent today unfortunately.

Live in NC but these subjects are being eradicated all together now that Common Core has infiltrated every state and pretty much is implemented federally which is exactly the opposite of the way it's supposed to be. Each state is supposed to set their own standards and curriculums yet the government basically paid each state to implement a new ( not even tested statistically) curriculum that of which millionaires have invested in such as Bill Gates. His kids attend private school so you must ask yourself why he would want to implement curriculums for public school in general let alone replacing curriculums that have been proven statistically better than that which he is supporting. This is indoctrination and is quite communistic when you think about so many years from now all kids in all states will learn the same things with no choices of different methods or literatures left up to the teachers or districts if the people don't start to wake up and see how detrimental this is to society

Please do that video on the changes you've been through after serving in the military.....a lot of us who have served, after seeing first hand how the big machine works, have a huge changed of heart once we realize just how completely used we were by our country to hurt other people for their own gains.

Michael Collins This makes me so sad to hear, but I know many who served (I was supposed to) and say the exact same thing. Be that as it may, I am still so grateful for all that serve/have served in the military. Can't wait to see Jimmy's video on it too.

So great to hear a knowledgeable scholar give their thoughts on a topic that they have an in-depth grasp of. It would be great if you could substantiate your claim about the heliocentric solar system depicted on the tablet with some written evidence which in fact mentions such a solar system and confirms your interpretation of it. That would make your argument sound convincing instead of being perceived as mere subjective speculation.

unfortunately, even here in Iraq, we don't learn properly about ancient Iraqi civilizations especially the myths that inspired the stories of Moses and Noah and most of history classes focus on islamic history which is not our own history.

Sir if a foreigner have to tell an Iraqi about your history, you are not well inform. If you are an Arab, it is not your history. You do not learn it, because your people are not the original inhabitants.

carlos bodie when I said we didn't learn about iraq's history in history classes I meant the formal education which is controlled by the state, I'm wondering how that makes me not informed about my history

You don't need to pass through 7 planets to get to Earth. They are not lined up, and it totally depends on the direction you are coming from.

How is it a good point? It is a stupid and irrelevant point. And if they were lined up it would just make it easier to go around them as they would not be spaced out randomly.

    • @NioXoiN
      @NioXoiN 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

"you need to pass them" "no you don't, this is why" ergo he made a point and it was good. The video makes the point as if it was that simple and always true and he says that it's not. hell, you could pass every other planet before reaching earth.

I always talk about how schools don't talk about this and why they call it "myth" right away. It's on purpose. And schools just purposely box us in, but that's a whole different story for another day. I had my awakening as well. Peace and Love.

My school experiences were similar (1940s-1950s) and thankfully we are growing away from all the fairy tale attitudes about our history! We need the truth...not politically or religiously correct trash! My grandchildren are all asking the right questions and demanding CORRECT information! Bless them!

Ok. Have to point out. Mortality rates of "back then" (e.g. 1,000 yrs ago, 4,000 years ago, etc.) are NOT to be read to suggest a 40 year old was "elderly" or 'rare' when life expectancy (not the term I would use; Mean Longevity is more appropriate I believe) was around 35-45 years old.
I keep getting the impression that people who make such references are imagining people still aging as we do now, just at a much faster rate, so that a woman at 20 y/o back then looks like a woman, say an Amish woman or someone who hasn't had surgeries, treatments, or wears makeup, today at age 50. It does not work that way.
People "back then" still lived, and not so rare as you may think, into their 80s. There were still 50 and even 60 year olds walking the mountains and valleys to tend herds, gather meat, etc.
What these numbers everyone is quoting really say is that IF you count every human who makes it to their third trimester in their mother's womb and then mark off everyone who dies at some point after that date, whether they die at birth or just before, they die at age 20 days, or 20 months, or 20 years, we count every person who dies from that '3rd trimester date", the numbers are saying, the same number of people died BEFORE they made it from 0 days old to 39 years old, as were still alive at 39 years and 1 day old.
This includes the 10-20% of babies who only lived 1 day back then.
This includes the 10-20% of additional babies who died between 2 days and 1 year.
This includes the 10-20% of children who died before they were 10 years old.
This includes the 10-20% of children who died before they turned 20 years old.
From what do they die? Not old age at 10 y/o right?
Right!! They died from things we can cure with a trip to the medicine cabinet or by NOT eating food we had to eat to try to keep from starving that someone today would never eat even if you paid them to. They died from things people don't know about today because we advanced in technology and haven't had to think about it outside a classroom for 50 years.
It really bothers me when people misuse this concept, if you can't tell, especially when trying to make a logical argument I tend to support and want to see advanced in a positive light.
Kind of like having a discussion on Bigfoot and bringing up transdimensional vampiric wererats from Pluto.
