That place is just gorgeous! And the hiking, right on the edge - epic! What month was this is? October? The colours look gorgeous 😍 and the lake view with the low cloud... wow! Really nice music too bro 🎶 another great video mate with some stunning visuals, especially at the falls 👌
This was the first week of November - I loved the mood that day. Yes it was raining but also the fall colors were second to none! Thanks so much for watching!
We came in at a perfect time, minus the rain, but the colors were magical! The whole hike is about 15 miles roundtrip to the 7th lake, I stopped at around 5 miles in, so 10 miles roundtrip!
Beautiful! So you didn't finish the seven lakes trail. Saw the huts was closed, that's why you came down on the same day? I wish to hike in Autumn too, problem is all the mountains are closed. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank You!
I stopped because the weather was getting worse and more snow started accumulating - I figured this was a good turn around spot. I would google Triglav National Park huts and see when they are open. I went in November, by then everything was closed. You can probably camp but that is entirely up to you! Or you can do a very long day hike to see all the lakes
@@LukeGeeTravels Thank You for speedy reply :) The same problem my last year Dolomiti hike. All Refugio closed in Oct. I moved my trip earlier, then the trees were still green. If I camp alone, would I get the bear visit? :(
@hucksmountainnotes7330 no problem! I don’t believe so. It’s nature so anything can happen but it’s rare. I would be more concerned with packing for the right weather. Fall is beautiful and the golden larch trees are stunning!
Great video! What are you using to capture such stable video? My wife and I are planning a trip to the Triglav area and your video really helped our planning. Thank you!
This is all off gopro hero 9. Triglav is amazing, if I can recommend - spend a day in Bled, a day around lake bohinj, and couple days on the west side of Triglav in Soča Valley! In the summer it’s so pretty there
@@LukeGeeTravels thank you, so, i guess starting in the morning you finished it around 15:00, without the last lake, but even with it, i guess its ok to do it all in a day in mid august, thank you again!
@tudorrusu2991 absolutely! The beginning of the hike is the hardest because of a lot of elevation gain. Please be careful if there are many people on the trail as loose rocks can fall from above. Have a safe trip and dont forget to stop by Savica Waterfall!
Wow, the autumn colours were magnificent. We have been twice to Slovenia and I would go back in a heartbeat the third time. Both times were in the end of August. I don't think I am brave enough to go in November!
@@ronitgreenblum7182 it is definitely a gamble! I got lucky and I would do it al over again. Absolutely ZERO tourists on the trail but I had to sacrifice some of the overlooks, Which I still loved!
Yes it is! You are climbing on very steep ledges, I would NOT recommend hiking this if you are afraid of heights. You can check out savica waterfall and in Lake Bohinj there is a gondola that takes you to a top of a mountain if you’d like to experience it that way
@@LukeGeeTravels Hi, which route did you take? I am also afraid of heights and definitely couldn't take this route. I was hoping to go from platina blato and maybe via stapce to the double lakes
What did you think of the hike to the Valley of Seven lakes? Would you add this hike to your bucket list??
I love hiking out in the wilderness so your hike 🥾🥾 was great Luke 😎👍🏻.
I know Colombia has some great multi day hikes, but anytime I am out hiking I feel so happy!
Wow’ that looked scary as you were climbing but the final destination looks incredible!
It didn’t help that it was raining but i’m glad to have done this hike! The entire hike was super beautiful!
Beautiful ❤️❤️❤️
Triglav is the only National Park in Slovenia 🇸🇮 and it’s really beautiful
WOW AMAZING!!!
This was definitely one of the highlights of my trip! Such a beautiful hike, and there was more I didn’t get to see because of the weather as you saw

@@LukeGeeTravels much higher chance of rain I guess but worth it!
@@LozsLeisure not a single person on the trails that day, and I must say, it worked out perfectly!
The beginning lake 😍 the fog and colorful leaves..wowww you really went at a perfect time!

Do you think its feasible to do it in single day?
I did, i was back to the car around 14:00/15:00 but I didnt get to see the last lake which is one of the most beautiful ones. It all depends on you

This was first week of November! Got pretty lucky because it snowed a lot the week after I left, but the colors were stunning!
