    This one's my new favorite! I love when you guys sit down and talk to the viewer! Your comments on growth mindset and the certainty of hardship are so valuable for someone looking to the sailing world for an escape. Solid content! Thank you!

    Congrats on a great year. You two feed my growing hunger to wander again, but this time on the water. Last year when you started, my mind was newly infected with designing to build a narrow 16 foot flat bottom river camper that folds into a seaworthy capsule for open waters. Please pray for me in the form of cheaper lumber in the springtime. I'm blown away and inspired by what you do!

      Wow! Thank you so much for your comment, John. We are so glad we are helping grow you wanderlust! :) Your design of the flat bottom river camper sounds fascinating! We look forward to seeing that on the water and certainly pray for cheaper everything in the future! Prices are out of control right now. Thanks again for your encouragement!

    Congratulations on a successful year of sailing catamaran cruising. I'm sure there have been a lot of trials and tribulations, but you're still afloat and your boat looks better than ever. My wife and I are at least year behind you guys, we bought our boat in May (2000 Catana 431) but we a on the slow path to cruising, taking our time and adding the stuff we want. We really enjoy your channel especially the humor you bring to the situations you encounter.
    Who knows we may see you out there on the Big O sometime. Keep up the great work, fair winds and smooth sailing.

      Gary - Thank you so much for your kind words. Yes, many ups and downs, but we still persevere! And, the boat DOES look great! HA! Congrats on your boat!!! Going slow is smart. We should have slowed down a bit...I am so glad you have the time to add what you want and prepare for what's to come! If there is anything we can do for you, please let us know and we surely hope to see you in the blue! Thanks for enjoying our (well, that would be Brown!) humor! Thanks again for leaving a comment!

    Just subscribed. So glad to see a couple living the dream. The wife and i are 3 three years out from retirement from public service, so we aren’t rich and looking to make a big change to the the cruiser life. Looking forward to going back to your first videos and catching up.

    Been following you since St. Lucia. Congratulations on finishing year 1! Wife and I are one of those following in your footsteps. Ideally similar boat and path as yours in 18 months when we become empty nesters. Enjoying these "lessons learned" videos. I know the videos are time consuming to make, but know they are appreciated!

    what is the most shallow depth BA can be in....for
    floating and moving?

    • @SailingBlownAway
      @SailingBlownAway  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      She draws 3’11” so if we are moving it has to be 4’. If we are at anchor and it’s flat, we can rest on the sand without an issue though not what we try to ever do.
