You can do but in South side, south west( Niruthi moolai ) or south center must be first preference.if both place are not possible, you can place it in South East (agni moolai) but it should be few inches away from ground level.

I assume,you are asking for sump placement. Right placement is northeast or north center or east center. If above places are not possible, go for west center or north west
South side sump closed.can I put Syntex tank in south, because no place for sump in north east
