I have him at S+ ex10 and I've found a lot of success deficit pushing around 3x my power using him with Temesia. Her running people over procs the Ulmus ex weapon root. Currently pairing that with eironn and carolina and it feels very solid. He's taken me way further than I was able to get with Granny
I've seen Barry use Ulmus, Eiron, Lumont, and Reinier with Smoky as a cheaper alternative to Phraesto, it seems like it works from one showcase in afk deficit but I also wonder if it'll be reliable.
No. And that’s the point. You need to max Phraesto fot him to be good, so it is not an option for the WAST majority of players. Ulmus is just great, he’s worse than Frarsto but is much more affordable
@beachcan This is a pretty solid deficit. He’s over 1400+ afk stage, as someone who’s close to 1300, you won’t be at a 2-3x deficit, but it’s different up here and you are talking about billions in power deficit which is a lot
@@fingerpuppet714 This is not true. Current stage where I am is cleared with 4,800M power vs enemy of 19,000M. That is 5x deficit. I am also around 1,2k stages cleared.

Yea sure, now do high deficits without Phraesto. Spoiler: You can't. It's not the tree, the tree buys you some time with eironn but doesn't actually cover the map like Phraesto which is why you can or not complete the stages with Smokey cheese.
Nah, you don't get it. You can't place Smokey up front without him getting one shotted or the enemy will rush him down because of how slow moving Phraesto is. Ulmus job here is to pin the enemy down longer to make Phraesto reach them to corner them and then taunt them. While the other team have time to fire their skills without getting interrupted or killed.
@@yami4593 Yeah for real! No where in the video Zeebo mentioned to replace with Ulmus and the showcase literally show Ulmus being used with Pharaetro so nowhere here suggests to replace him at all. @@jadsterif you're not on sos yet. Marilee>koko>korin or korin>koko>marilee. If you're nearing sos better to invest on koko first then korin, that said, hoping you have a thoran and smokey m+

lol no. this is barely a deficit. he can finish that stage with a ton more combinations

This is not even deficit pushing, the enemy is like 20% stronger than you... show us 250-300% deficit pushes
At this high stage, you aren’t going to see 2-3x deficit, but at this power it’s billions of power difference which is a ton

i already reached 1260 using phareosto, smookey, hwynn, odie, koko.. so yeah i think pharesto and smokeey are the actual mvps here not the damn tree

Without Koko it's impossible to get top 100 among many bosses.
