- Here it is then - the new Mercedes-AMG A35 Saloon, or Sedan if you are an American! Or A-Klasse Sedan if you are German. Anyways, it gets the same 2.0-litre turbo engine as the A35 Hatch with 306hp and 400NM of torque. A dual clutch DCT seven-speed automatic gearbox comes as standard while upgraded brakes, sports suspension, tweaked steering and extra bracing for the chassis should improve the car's responsiveness and agility over the standard A-Class saloon. Look at the headlights, the rear of the CLA looks similar to the A class's. But the front headlights on the CLA are more swoopy.

I have the A35 sedan....What I love most is that my car was produced right before new eu regulations which makes a35’s and pretty much all other cars sound more quiet. In S+ mode the exhaust goes crazy. It’s just a 2.0 4 cilinder but the sounds are awesome. I also managed a 4.6 to 100km/h with just me in the car and 1/2 gas left. Which is pretty good for a car with just 306hp
Matt please review the c class and do a comparison between Mercedes c class, BMW 3 series and Audi A4

Is it just me or... if you squint when looking at the rear at a certain angle (@2:54) its almost identical to the Alfa Guilia? (but not as good looking!)

@@MrHussain1998 seems like you are not familiar with new generation AMG 4Matic+ drivetrains.
They are capable of being 100% rearwheel and 100% all wheel drive with just press of button.
Like new E63S.
And Mercedes already announced that upcoming New A45 hatch will have a dedicated Drift mode.
@@natrajpatil7779 oh right didn't know that but the older model A44 AMG didnt have the drift button.
It's only gonna get used on the track and a few young drivers will use it on the streets and end up crashing lol

@@cryptomoneyuk For each it's own. But I bought a v40 last year and I was 24. Volvo v40 is in my opinion a really classy and young model. I noticed people changing from mercedes to volvo since volvo is stepping up their game and their quality is superb. I know some interiors of mercedes feel and look alot cheaper than volvo's if you're not going for the most expensive everything in leather option.

The Sedan looks a lot nicer. Cla is weird
All down to personal preference. From the rear..I prefer the CLA....but not overwhelmingly. And the CLA has frameless doors which look nicer. But other than that...very similar cars. There's an in depth side by side comparison between this and the CLA and the differences are pretty small overall.

It's still a luxury car. Shrink it down, market it however you want, aim it at particular demographics...and call it "entry level" all day long, but it's still a luxury car from a luxury car manufacturer...Mercedes are never going to be inexpensive, unless you buy 2nd hand.
