I'd rather have some well stocked shops that are a bit more pricey than empty pegs, wasting time and gas on 2 Landos would infuriate me to no end...
but i only order online anyway ... that of course comes with its own ups and downs.
Currently looking at a Koska Reeves that is stuck in shipping and my recent 501st clone had a bad faceprint, of course sold out at all online shops, so i can't even replace it.
Some of the prices were fair, but yeah for an "antique mall" there are certainly some people trying to make some cash on those modern exclusives. Still cool to see them though! Some of the prices were fair. Thanks for watching as always, Mitch! -Justin

I absolutely LOVE going on toy / collector hunts like this, Justin. 😂. I take a cup a coffee and meander through my local Targets and WalMarts in the early morning. I know the employees get a kick out of me by now. Hell, I’ve meet some good people and made some neat friends myself doing it. Isn’t it exciting when you “find a case in the wild”? LOL 😂

Dang! That America’s Antique Mall store had the mother load of figures, including a ton of super rare Walmart exclusives. How is that possible? I hope that’s one you revisit. No such place exists in my town/state, and if it did the local scalpers would NEVER let that much stock sit on the shelves. Every single one of those Black Series figures would be long gone and on eBay. I found it stunning that hasn’t happened in your area. Again, that five minutes you showed contained more Black Series figures than I’ve seen cumulatively in 25-40 area Walmart/Target stores combined during the past 12 months. I’m so used to seeing nothing at every store, or the occasional 1 or 2 peg warming damaged box item that someone obviously returned (since my stores don’t buy new figures). I’m gonna have to check and see if there’s pileups in the garden section like you showed us too. I haven’t been to any of my Walmarts in over a month (again there’s been no point since they quit stocking Star Wars), so now I’m curious. Anyway, loved the vlog and store tours. Always a good fun ride along. Much appreciated!

Ya'll don't have enough snow down there! We can send you some! I dunno what it is with Walmart and restocking, Target has been doing better lately. I always ran into that thing at walmart saying figures were in stock, then never seeing them, but then I'd see figures on the pegs and the website said they were out of stock, so walmart doesn't even know what walmart is doing.
Between you and me, Jeffrey...the drone footage is slightly outdated because the day that I vlogged my batteries were too low to take off. We have plenty of snow over here in actuality! Walmart doesn't know what Walmart is doing perfectly sums this whole thing up. Thanks for watching! -Justin

That Antique Mall has a good variety of Star Wars figures but some of the price are questionable especially the ones with the damage packaging. I almost pull the trigger last month on a black series Cody at my comic shop for $35 but I was able to find him on Amazon for $21 last few weeks.

thats wierd that they clutter the pallets in the garden section. In my area the Walmarts stick the pallets very close to the isles so it can be easier for them to stock it right away. like right in front of the toy isle and in the bikes, usually a bunch of ppl sifts through them, the majority of ppl looking through the boxes are looking for hotwheels and johnny lightning and match box, I always sigh in relief because I was afraid they were going to beat me to the star wars stuff but like 90 percent of them are looking for hotwheels
I think in this instance there are too many pallets to simply put in the aisles. The thing that I don't get is instead of putting the pallets in the gardening section and leaving it...why not just stock the product? Lol. -Justin

I went to Walmart again last night and they seem to be doing a huge reset on toys, they had about 11 pallets in the front of toys and they were restocking and rearranging and clarencing a lot of legends and joes! I am hopeful they will stock the archive wave and other star wars soon!
All Walmart's are hiding the Hasbro stuff in the warehouse and won't put them out on the pegs

I was completely on board with the prices on some of those Black Series figures..35$-40 sometimes 45$..ok fair, better than what I've seen elsewhere. Then I saw the Retro Spider-Man had a sticker for 99$ and a bent card no-less! I doubt that will sell any time soon.
Yeah the aftermarket prices weren't all that bad at all for some of them, just not practical to army-build for over retail. And yeah Retro Spidey on that card for $100 was pretty bad. Thanks for checking out the vlog! -Justin

i went to 4 different Walmart's in my area and only luck i had was finding Lando..so stepped up the search by going to Disney Springs which has 2 stores dedicated to SW merch. You'd assume Disney would be hogging all the merch to sell in the parks directly, but nope their out of stock on almost everything as well..Tho when it came to Black series, they had plenty of yup LANDO figures lol & just one single Koska Reeves which i was lucky to grab

Those Antique mall prices might seem expensive for some but for me those are good prices. It cost alot to ship things to Finland from US

At least Credit Collection Moff Gideon was swapped with another Gideon instead of a Power Ranger. About the only new stuff I’m seeing on toy hunts are McFarlane’s DC Multiverse figures. Not sure why that line can get figures out but Hasbro can’t get Black Series on shelves. That’s probably why DC Multiverse line was most purchased action figure line in Canada and US. 😉

The internet has ruined places like America's Antique mall. Everything is now meticulously priced at or way above going ebay rate. It sucks all the fun out of it for me when hunting at spots that make their own prices because there's no chance of finding a deal.
Honestly, you're absolutely right at least when it comes to the one I visited. All of the other vendors appear to be wanting to get rid of old stuff, which is kind of what I think of when I hear "antique mall." But yeah the vendors with modern collectibles are just trying to make money. Some of the prices were fair but some of them are certainly gouged. -Justin
Yes, I will watch a video of an unsuccessful hunt. I like to see that we’re all having the same experience. It frustrates me when I see a TH-camr who is obviously on the inside and starts his hunt video going directly to the store and scoring an entire wave. To me that just says he has a guy working in the stockroom.
Funny how those guys always have the figures in their cart and they don’t show them on the pegs.

Oh....n just a heads up....we are going to be launching a VERY ambitious project that's just for collectors to be able to get figures that Hasbro will most likely never make. You guys may just be able to get some of those clones n other troopers you've been wanting. That phase 1 Dark Trooper from the video games???? The one you really, REALLY want??? Well within a year or so you'll be able to get one. And the way we are structuring this venture, when you order it, the figure ships. There won't be a lead time or a waiting period like when getting a typical custom Figure made. These will be customs but the execution is going to be done in a way that nobody else has ever done before. The announcement and details of our project will come May 4th this year with the reveal of the first wave of four figures be revealed that same date. This will be on nsta, Facebook, and TH-cam and we will take reservations that day as well.
This is going be a huge and momentous project for us. But we have lartned up with some fantastic individuals who share our passion for putting out QUALITY custom figures that will blend in seamlessly with Hasbros Black Series figures. We are going for QUALITY FIRST and look forward to bringing smiles to the faces of collectors who will finally be able to easily and quickly get characters Hasbro will probably never make. It's going to be HUGE but we have been planning this and working things out for a year now and we have assembled a fantastic, top notch team of creators who are putting their hearts in this project. Stay tuned! You won't regret it. Nothing like this has ever been done before. It's so exciting man!
