@@papagigo1 There is obviously some degree of genetic continuity between the Neolithic and Bronze Age populations of Ireland. While it is true that the Neolithic/Early Bronze Age transition comes with a considerable population influx that had a significantly effect on the composition of the gene pool in the island of Ireland at the time, it is not as if we are dealing with a 100% population replacement. So it is perhaps not that surprising to find a certain degree of cM matches between two people who lived in the northeastern part of the island, even if they are temporally separated from each other by more than a millennium.
