Shamelessly, Stephen Sackur and the majority of the journalists working for MSM's are just so determined that people they interview must take side with them or else these desperate journalists will be fired by their greedy Zionist masters.

In Russia we know the British as very courteous and cultured people who will not say bad things about a person, even if it's true. In the past, I have lived in Britain for many years and I can say with certainty that the British are the top of the correctness. In any case, it was like that before. And this journalist behaves like a city madman, a disgrace to the nation.

He does this to everyone. It seems to be a thing in England with interviewers. They even do it in their parliament. It confuses me as an American because, for all of our many many faults, interrupting or talking over someone is considered HIGHLY disrespectful here, and we got most of our culture from the English. I also thought the English took manners very seriously

When Lawrow tried to explain why the purity of the Novichok was a problem (because it deteriorates rapidly) he was cut off 2 times by Sackur. In general: this was not asking tough questions looking for valid answers, which would be good journalism, but rather acting rude trying to please Sackurs superiours including the political commissars of GB. Lawrow did well and stayed calm. I think the british (and US and french) position is as laughable as it is dangerous. Acting this way GB will lead us into WW3. You don´t need us, the germans, to become idiotic warmongers, as was claimed during all my years of existance, even in history lessons at my highschool and university. Thanks for clarifying that. Probably british colonial phantom pain diminishes UKs ability to reason.

We all know this didn't happen, they'd be trying to sweep this under the rug real quickly. Because these are real war crimes. Bombing a country on some 'alleged' attacks. They won't be even putting this in the headlines these upcoming weeks, because they want the masses all to forget all this crap happened. We as a country as long as we stand side by side with the US have and will loose any credibility we have left in the world. Is truly amazing how unaware “our” supposed Free Press and there government minders are.
After Iraq/Afghanistan the internet made it impossible to get away with same propaganda they had used before but they still pretend it’s the people (vast majority of ppl know both our government here in US and there in Uk are the liars, just look at our elections which supposed political parties were forced to step in a rig the primary to keep the people from getting a say. We didn’t get Trump bc ppl believe him, we chose him to show the corrupt deep state and corporate owners that we don’t believe you anymore. Wanna try and force us to pick your candidate by putting worst person available as only other choice? Fine, we choose the terrible guy now try and spin that with your propaganda media!
Only reason Joe Biden got elected was bc they shut our entire country down just as Bernie swept out Primary and magically Joe Biden (by far the least popular candidate ever) starts winning mail in and states where polls show him losing to Bernie by double digits literally the week before the election. If you think Joe Biden won the Primary or that entire American electorate didn’t know they rigged the primaries again then you are too dumb to vote. Even the exit polls showed that VAST majority chose Bernie
All that and Biden still barely won (and even those of us on the left have to admit something fishy happened in the election polls) not too mention how the corporate NeoCons were able to completely censor our decidedly un FreePress
US and Uk are the bad guys at this point and only people who pretend not to know are above 65 and hopefully will die off sooner than later.

I don't receive any replies to those messages, and I expected none. What could they reply? Could they deny that the US has placed its military forces in Syria uninvited by the recognized, legal government? Hardly! Why do I write? The best secretary of state not only in Russia but also in the world. This is a person who speaks clearly and precisely describes the events that took place. You know when a man speaks constantly of truth, so this is for him always an advantage, because of the lies you have to well remember, that you commit an error. Good Luck!

This is hardly a Russophilic interview, yet the comments read as universally supportive of Lavrov’s performance. Can it be deduced that those interested enough in the truth behind the headlines find the position of Sergei Lavrov (as he explains it, without editorial misrepresentation) entirely reasonable? And by inference, the position of certain western governments as somewhat unreasonable?
Whatever truth eventually emerges (if indeed it does) on these incidents, a thinking-man of Lavrov’s character and diplomacy is an asset to all sides in their safe-handling.

Shameful! What is the point of the interview if the interviewer doesn't allow to talk Mr.Lavrov. If you want to express your biased opinion, have your own "monologue" show and don't waste precious time of the Minister who has much more important issues to deal with.

I don't care if Lavrov is Russian or not, he is an incredibly good diplomat and extremely professional each time I've heard him speak, he also has a great sense of humour (look up his CNN clip about pussy riot). If all countries had politicians like this guy instead of puppets we'd be in a much better world.

As a Brit, it's very hard to feel proud of our policies currently. Sentence before trial seems to have become the norm.
The fact is, 99% of people all around the world have no issue with each other, yet, due to the lunacy of a few, we are all suffering this bizarre set of situations. We'd do better if we were all left alone to get on with the important stuff.
Decent, honest and intelligent leaders would, at this crucial time, meet, talk, establish peace - the only option other than mutual destruction, and not leave the room until the above was assured. We are entitled to, in fact, demand, a peaceful existence.
    My blood is boiling.

To answer the last question of the interviewer "What's your point?" The point was that Boris Johnson was hypocritical in his comparison of 2018 World Cup in Russia to 1936 Nazi Olympics because the British came to Germany in 1938 for a football match and raised their hands in a Nazi salute (British government officials also attended the 1936 Olympics, by the way). But the polite and diplomatic Lavrov refused to answer that about his British counterpart out of respect.
