Nene was purged by Lamy first but she actually revived and used the moment Pekora was chasing Subaru as a distraction to run away with her borrowed life and became a fugitive of the server for a short while. I haven't seen a clip yet.

Pekora owns the server, there is a rule, you can revive only once and it will cost you 7 diamond block, and they already died twice, but... This rule exist because not everyone is a pro at minecraft, it will be very sad for them if they lost the chance to Interact with others and missed this special event.

So most of the week's milestones were in preparation for those boss fights (grinding for materials, gear, and enchantments, nether exploration for potions & Netherite, raids for trade discounts, etc.) One Wither was too easy for that many people, so Pekora spawned three Withers at once after. Then she spawned two Withers for the Ender Dragon fight. Then they had to beat the true final boss, Pekora.
I don't really get the point of this with the weapon gacha, like of course Aqua was going to lose when she had a wooden sword in the first round and didn't even have a real weapon in the last round. The fact she lost basically says nothing about her skill at the game just that she has awful gacha luck.
If the weapon gacha isn't a thing then skill is pretty determining. You'd be kinda forced to only put people of similar levels against each other to make it a proper gamble and/or fun. Else you get the comments "No way they could win against that strong person." This way, even someone with better character control can end up having their odds evened by the gacha. It makes it much more of a gamble who to bet on and so on. Tldr: it's more exciting / entertaining.
