    Gene!! You da MAN!! ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOUR HUMILITY!! That's the only path to who we really are. And love the fact you don't try to hide your messups ... and show how you fix them !! Very honorable!! I mess up on a regular basis. And I'm also a artist. I've found most times things don't turn out as I invisioned they turn out better. Because I let the piece do what it wants...lol I know that sounds silly but sometimes it seems they have a mind of they're own lol

    • @DIYGene
      @DIYGene  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Oh I don't think it is silly at all. I feel the same way. Some of my most favorite projects have been when I don't really know how it will turn out. I also was told many years ago by a very talented friend. " The difference between a amateur and a pro is, a pro knows how to fix his screw-ups". No I don't consider my self a pro, but it lets you know everyone screws up. In the mean time, I am having a lot of fun!

    Very nice! But now you really need a matching tray to carry the coffee mugs. Maybe with engraved copper sheets and this really cool burnt wood? Right now I'm 2km away from the Eiffel Tower (the real one) and I think it would be amazing to see this coffee machine next to this old lady. 😃
