I love using mine, I made some really good Xmas crackers with bathbombs, it is nice to learn new things, I couldn't afford a mug press at this stage..

So we bought the bags wholesale readymade with the antlers already on, you can buy blanks from a lot of places online such as Amazon, eBay etc, Im hoping to get my hands on some cute ones for easter too🤞🏼❤️ xxx

Hi Juliette. Your right about Etsy and they make mistakes with how much they owe us sometimes. Just wish there was somewhere else, not on the high street did come to us. But they are just the same, with money. Thinking of opening our own site soon.
Hi Patrick, oh my gosh, I never knew how much their cut was until we started, it is a shame there is not a competitor with few lower fees or it would be great if they did more of a pyramid on their commission so smaller businesses starting out didn't have as much taken off them, with it being so competitive it can be hard to start out for sure. I think Etsy is a great way to start and get your name out there and some sales behind you but I think its a great idea to have your own site and push with social media. Hi Karen, yes I can totally relate, I actually bought the maker a few years ago and didn't do hardly enough with it, since ive been working with Cricut it really pushed me to try more things and I use it so much more now, you should definitely make it a New Years goal to try and do more projects ❤️ I think the more you use it the easier it becomes and doesn't feel so long winded and overwhelming like it can do to begin with xxx

New subscriber here! Loved your video. I use my Cricut mug press a lot, I don't sell anything that I make, I give gifts to friends and family. I pressed 24 mugs before Christmas to give as gifts. I love everything Cricut! 😍

I know it was not a tutorial but would love to see more on starting to use a Cricut for beginners. Where do you buy bubble wrap and boxes? I buy mine online but sometimes need them fast and if there was somewhere I can buy in bulk but collect if I need fast it would be good. Etsy fees seam a lot and the way they show them makes them look very expensive but when you total up they are the same or less then other sites and even with your own website there are costs for the site then costs for whatever payment processor you use and then you might need to pay for advertising to get buyers to your site. Etsy has its problems but is a good place to start selling as it's easy to set up and use and as a large number of buyers are already going to the site. Anyone thinking of starting etsy needs to look into what is allowed and not allowed to be sold as well as things like copyright and trademark laws and what inspections or licenses you might need for certain items but being able to work your own hours and work from home has lots of advantages.
What a lovely informative comment Amanda, thank you so much. I will definitely look into doing some of those videos if it will help people. so I get mine from a local supplier in Dudley now. I used to order them from Tidmas Townsend on eBay but with all the Royal Mail strikes over Christmas it was an absolute nightmare so I decided to try and find a local supplier, its a but more expensive but more convenient and like you say great if you need things fast.

Trust me, you’d save so much time and energy if you purchased a real heat-press . You could even press two bags at once.

Yes I know what you mean, and glass mugs too as I think that would be a great option, I know people do do work around with different mugs but I don't think Cricut cover the machine if anything goes wrong then. xx

Honestly Heather, once you get used to using them it really is quite easy. When I bought my first Cricut machine a couple of years ago, I did spend quite a bit of time scratching my head and playing around with things but the more you do the easier it gets and I think the more projects you have to do at the same time the easier it is to do them all in one go, if that makes sense. oh yes! that would be amazing for cafe mugs, what a lovely idea! xx

Aww yay so glad you enjoyed it Melissa, I love to show you guys. oh totally, everything in my house needs a label or personalisation 😂. The reindeer bags are blanks that you can purchase from wholesalers, they already have the antlers on and they do different styles for different seasons. I hope this helps xxx

My niece tried to get me to purchase the mug press and I thought it was kinda silly. I said I would never use it. So she asked her dad for one for her birthday in November. She didn't even own a cricut! So she brought it to my house and we used my cricut and made a ton of mugs for gifts. She got a Joy for Christmas. I really didn't want her to take the mug press home with her. So I ended up getting one for Christmas. You are going to be addicted to your mug maker!! So much fun!!!

Michaels usually has sales. You can also purchase them from Amazon or even other stores such as Ross, Burlington, Etc.. Majority of mine are from Michaels.
Hi Alexandra, firstly yay on your Cricut for Christmas, you will have so much fun, I Give you till the end of January before your home is all labelled 😂🙈. So I get mine from Hobbycraft mainly as they have sales on and offers which work out well Sometimes I get them from amazon. you can get other vinyls that aren't branded and are cheaper from Amazon or places like the works but I have tried them before and it can be hit and miss on how they cut, also I love the smart vinyl as you don't need a matt and that is only from Cricut brand.
