Winter Doves

Doves are ground feeders. Lately, there has been so much snow on the ground that the doves have not been able to feed. This table was also covered in snow until today. Bob cleared off the snow while I was away at work and spread seed like I normally do. He also spread seed on the top of the cover of our hot tub. When I came home from work, these and so many more mourning doves were feasting, and so was I, on a beautiful sight. I love the sound they make.
