You should keep all the stuff from the van that can be used without electricity. You will need a way to cook and boil water after a hurricane. Every year there's a tax free period to purchase preparedness items before the start of hurricane season. Y'all should have two plans in place. One to hunker down for tropical storms-Cat 1 hurricanes. Two to evacuate in Cat 2+ hurricanes. Be prepared to live without municipal water, sewage pumps and electricity after a storm. Have more than one bug out location in case the storm blows in the direction you plan to run. Be prepared, not scared! Have enough food to last 2-3 weeks. Shelf stable food, pre-cooked canned or instant "just add water" type items quick to prepare. Y'all can do this! No worries!

lol I was just thinking in that last video she needed storage containers for that cabinet she was trying to get the bag in. Mine used to be like that. Till I couldn’t find something one day and then went and bought it again to come home and find it the next day. 🤦‍♀️ so I went out and spent a lot on storage containers and spent the next week fixing and labeling everything. My kids were so happy they could find things in the snack cabinet 😂

A bunch of folks are leaving the coast. This hurricane season is projected to be bad.
We are leaving in June.
It’s just not worth it.
The older you get you can’t cope with the heat and humidity when the power is out for a month or two.
They want you to prep for your own family bc help will not be coming to save you.
Lived on the coast all my life and I’m an old lady. Time to move on and away from danger alley.
