after putting the main preset and route on two separate tracks. click on the main preset and unlink it from the master, then link it to the route. ( the link/route is the green line at the bottom of the track leading into a sort of knob)
I can tell there's potential with it but I guess I just don't have the ear to make it work, can't really tweak the mix in a way that it sounds right with my mic

i normally turn down both since i usually keep the main quieter than the route. but the route is the one that has more overall effect when adjusting the volume. when you route the main to the route, unroute from the master (main -> main route -> master)

the osamason presets has both fl 20 and 21. anything u used on fl20 transfers over to fl21 but you cant use fl21 presets on fl20
