I can relate to your experience with going down a video game-related rabbit hole, although for me it was spending too much time as opposed to too much money. As a 99th percentile straight A's kind of student, I once saw my grades and physical health suffer due to literal gaming addiction; otherwise sane people can fall victim to addictive behaviors like using social media or buying Fortnite skins seemingly out of the blue. Now, I don't know a lot about your life or what you think and experience, but I feel that I can relate and can offer two pieces of advice. Firstly, fuck skin rarity. Skin rarity shouldn't influence how beautiful you find a skin; only the actual aesthetic should. If you think it's good-looking and worth your money, by all means buy it, but don't buy it purely because it's more rare. In Krunker, my favorite skins' rarities are all over the place. Yes, I have probably a dozen contras, but you could literally pay me IRL money and I still won't switch off of my favorite Epic hat and Uncommon AK because I like and enjoy how they look. I can't even imagine myself getting unobs because they look so fucking ugly to me. Not even lunar knife has a pass from this reasoning; if I ever get it, I'm going to be very proud of my accomplishment, but I am QUICKSELLING THAT GARBAGE-ASS FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT AND POSTING THE FOOTAGE ON TH-cam because I hate it so much. (That's solely for lunar knife btw, charge rifle looks sick AF and I actually want that skin.) Secondly, if you do have a serious problem (and I'm honestly and truly not trying to insinuate anything), don't be afraid to seek out a therapist. Do a bit of research on gaming addiction first and be honest with yourself. It is possible to be enthusiastic about gaming without being addicted, but the more I've learned about my own issues, the more I've realized that's it's stupidly easy to lie to oneself about this kind of thing. Therapy gets a really bad stigma, but it's such a good thing for you and everyone around you that I believe the stigma is completely undeserved. There's not weakness in needing help, but strength in admitting that you need it. Oh boy, I can't wait to see how many braindead hater comments this gets.
I swear once you play fortnite and buy stuff ur def gunna end up spending quite a bit of money lol most people spend over 1k without even realizing which is crazy tbh just for a video game and u dont wear half the skins u buy anymore.
I SPENT $2000 ON THIS GAME.. Did Fortnite Ruin Gaming?
Battlepass spread like Covid fr
