Jyeṣṭha: Vedic Star of Eminence, Jealousy, and Intrigue

  • When you become powerful and important, a lot of drama, intrigue and jealousy comes flocking to you like a magnet! Jyeshtha Nakshatra is all about THAT. Hear the fascinating tales of its god, the most powerful Lord of Paradise: Indra. Learn how the lessons he had to learn are the lessons that will allow Jyeṣṭhā to flourish. (and find out why he is covered in a thousand vaginas!)

      Everytime someone calls Sanatan dharma “mythology”, it really hurts us all born into the religion. It’s an art preserved for generations survived islamic invasions n british colonisation. Please don’t say it’s mythology. It’s not myth.

      Hey... everything is here in our life to learn and grow. It's absolutely no mistake this is in Your chart (as in mine). Like Brother Vic Di Cara says... sharpen Your humility. Also... an important meditation for me has been to see the necessity of independence and dependency in humanity. What this means... that every and each entity has been given divine purpose and start to see those You feel competition and jealousy with these eyes of dependency and independence.
      I had a last point but it escapes me right now... keep that humble sword sharp ♡ its the most beautiful one on the wall ☆

      The other thing... remember that life has been conditioned for us to see it as competitive ... this is illusion and Maya... In fact... Your fellow brothers, sisters, Mother and fathers... they are our inspirations... Just as You are and will continue to be in and throughout life. This is eternal truth ☆♡☆

    I have Sun in Jyestha in the 6th house and this is the first time I have found an explanation that makes sense for this Nakshatra. I never related with my sun star as the explanations I find online are just off; until now.
    In every workplace/project that I have been in, I seem to trigger hatred/jealousy among some folks for reasons I never understood. These are people that we've just met and haven't known one another for long. Some even go a long way to get me fired or bad-mouth me to damage my reputation. Funny enough, I'm not even the ambitious/competitive type, not in a leadership position, and not even trying to appear the best on the job. This repeated so many times it made me swear off organizational jobs and now looking to do solo work. Also, in my younger years, I enjoyed sharing with others my achievements, but I often got the feeling that they felt I'm bragging, so nowadays I have learned to control showing off.

    To all you Jyestha out there, remember and ingrain this 1 word in your mind. 'HUMILITY' and this will take you far ahead because pride and ego will destroy you. It took me 30 years to learn my 'mantra'. If I could add, stop jumping into conclusion and think of all the WHO/WHEN/WHY/WHERE/WHAT AND HOW before taking a decision and nothing will stop you ever.

    • @yuvan6499
      @yuvan6499 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@allswellthatends I also think that Jyestha folks are more pessimistic and gets eaten up by it. Which explains why they can be low on self esteem or be stubborn on their ways to cope up with the insecurities.
      I got Jyestha moon in the house of death (12) so my mind often wanders into the unknowns such as life after death, karma, God, entities and etc. The good thing is that it's my inner mind and my Sun and Lagna projects a more cheerful side to the outside world since they're of different signs.
      Although your dad may seem as such, you gotta see where his moon at and its sign since that's the real indicator of his true. nature.

      @WORKOHOLIC SN I can't speak for all Jyestas out there but I think I'm very reserved, private and secretive person and I believe most Jyestas are like that because we're good at wearing "mask" and camouflaging into what others want to see. It's easier for us to dig other people's secrets but we don't want others to learn about us. Mainly I think we have an inclination to remain mysterious to people around us.

    • @yuvan6499
      @yuvan6499 ปีที่แล้ว

      @WORKOHOLIC SN Well said and I've never really prayed to lord Vishnu but I'm a huge follower of Lord Shiva since I relate so much to a yogi's life.
      I have a question though. Isn't it considered inefficient to pray to multiple gods since you're sharing energies with several entities so it diminishes the power?.
      All my life I've only worshipped 1 god and 1 deity. It was Lord Shiva while the deity is a family deity.

I'm Scorpio moon Jyeshtha with Aries asc ashwini mars ashwini Saturn ashwini, so I didn't know the jealousy meant other people, because that's a constant problem, especially the parents are jealous (I'm afraid to even tell them I went back to school & already graduated with Masters, they will troll me to death lol). . I always thought no I'm not that jealous . I do always think many are enemies. So Thank You I learned a lot!!

    I love this video! I met a lot of people with Rahu in Jyeshta and all of them are paranoid and all of them have been involved in triangular relationships. Ketu in Jyeshta follows a similar pattern, it is just that from what I have seen, Rahu in Jyeshta makes a person similar to Indra, Ketu in Jyeshta gives partners of Indra archetype. In one case I have seen, a woman divorced a man who was a massive cheater, but had testicles cancer and had to have one of them removed. It can't get much more literal than that, I think.

      Agree with u I have it in 4th pada Jyesta i get overboard with sensual pleasures eventually making mistakes and then i go back to my Devotion aspect almost like Indra's Redemption everytime he gets scrwed. His story is Reminder of forgiveness aspect of paramatma but then again we still cant escape our karmas just like indra faced his karmas in some form.

    • @stardustastrology6618
      @stardustastrology6618 7 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Yes, I always see Jyeshta going from one extreme to the other. I believe one possible solution would be to incorporate some kind of forgiveness practice into everyday life, as well as sensual pleasures, so that those extremes could be experienced on daily level. Consciously do both things on daily level. But it seems very hard for Jyeshta to do that. Once they enter their repentance cycle, then tend to get paranoid when they encounter sensual temptations even when they are just regular temptations, like a possibility of any kind of relationship.

      Yes i am a Sagg Ascendant with Sun and Rahu in Jyeshta 2 & 4 also Mercury in Vishakha 4. Everytime i get into a relationship/fling or whatever theres always another person involved in it. Either 2 girls who know each other well like me at the same time or there's another guy involved with the girl i like and I get insecure about it even if she's devoted to me. In one period of my life am too devoted to my girl and during another period I chat with all the girls in the world. Same thing with the world as well sometimes I stay locked up in my room for months and sometimes I try to be the center of attention. My whole life is bi-polar either too good or too bad. Also I dont get jealous much about people but people close to me have always said that there are alotta people jealous of me (maybe koz of my boasting nature :D)
      What's forgiveness practice and how do i comprise both poles on a daily level?

I had the unfortunate encounter of meeting someone who was definitely a sociopath (of course I did not know at first) He has this placement for his mercury in the 12th house. He def seemed secretive paranoid vengeful, extremely prideful and arrogant once I saw true colors. Vikshaka sun and moon conjunct (emotions are swallowed by sun) placement in 11 house. Saturn Anuradha 12th. Rahu in Bahrani 5th house. After listening and reading a lot about these placements I see it clearly. It's interesting to me to see how these play out and compare charts of people.

    Interesting; during my Saturn return I struggled (of course ignorant of *why*) but I couldn't find a balance; I don't recall being **told** I was being too proud/arrogant/hauty but, I was told I was being "too humble" (a couple times) so then, every so often I'd 'toot my own horn' and I could tell, *most* people felt uncomfortable with that; these astrological transits are gradually reminding me that it's most important, to my own well-being, to **not** give people so much credence, when it comes to my personal expression; the Teaching hasn't been crystallized in the mind yet, tho. #youdoyouboo

But he became a demon due to the bad association of Bāṇa, another demon. An atheist is called a demon, and it is a fact that even a person born of good parents can turn into a demon by bad association. Birth is not always the criterion of goodness; unless and until one is trained in the culture of good association, one cannot become good.
    Also Visvarupa is the son of brahmana named Tvasta not demon Maya.
    Hare Krsna!

    So interesting in regards to that mythological story about Indra getting robbed of his jewelry, Kim K with asc here was robbed of her jewelry and after that she doesn't really wear it like that anymore; Elizabeth Taylor also had ascendant in Jyestha and was famous for her lewelry collection, and there too were a few occasions when some pieces in her collection were in danger. Go figure! Power of those mythological stories⚡

    WOW. I always assumed it was Ketu (in Chitra) which was responsible for this indominable sense of pride that I have experienced for my whole life; which seemed by all chances to be inherent, that I was born with; (which I did not cause, nor did learn..). (And, which was, and is- a problem.) And... I never knew WHERE DID IT COME FROM ?
    What was it?
    Little did I know that the angles held so many clues for me about who I am and who I am to become. I've figured out the humility part, on my own...but this just draws it all in.
    Thank you..for the stories.
    your speaking voice is interesting and the delivery amazing.
    Thank you!!.

      No. According to many astrologers Jyesthas are people who often APPEAR proud to the outside world, but they are in reality not proud at all and are usually quite humble. The problem with Jyestha is APPEARING proud. Not necessarily being proud. Jyesthas will often fight for what they think is right (a good thing) but when a Jyestha does this they will get more flak for it than other nakshatras will for doing the same thing. that's part of the curse of having the moon here.

      @@olivtrees8749 yes you are absolutely right about this. This happen so much that person often thinks why the hell he's misunderstood by other people. Eg: let's say a Jyeshtha person saw a blind lady crossing the road, he/she will help her do cross the road. But people around will not praise the jyestha person, rather they will think 'oh this guy is showing off, that he's the only humaneterion out there.'

      Actually we need the whole birth chart(Lagna chart) to understand these things..the nakshatra tells us our character baselines..upon which the planetary placesments act as overrides.Also each nakshatra has four padas, in which the person takes birth. That brings great variation between two persons having natal moon in the same nakshatras and each of them will have separate advantage and disadv. Lastly the dasas(period),planetary aspects impact a lot and bring a great change in the whole life of the person.

    it's very painful to understand when people are commenting so negatively about Jyestha.It seems sexual swings,jealously, warring mindset, polygamy practices,.etc are the traits of Jyestha,...which is purely rubbish to sideline all Jyestha alike. Your mind is what your thought is,is what Iam convinced about how a person is and his actions will be. I have seen some of the most cruel, sibling haters, parent punishers, sexual sinnisters, guru slayers, womaniers, infanticiders, cold blooded murderers in people who are Rohini,Swathi,Thiruvathira,Barani,Uthiratadhi,Chadhayam etc..Jyestha is a very good star and it is the most misunderstood star of all the stars in the constellation.If a dog is brought up among Tiger cubs, when it's an adult the dog will only think and behave that it is also a tiger,..same way a person how he is or what his actions will be is based on his upbringing, society around him, people he is moving along,etc,...blaming the star is not right

    • @indradevabhakt6244

      VicDiCarasAstrology - I was writing on the overall outlook all jotish , astrologers and soothsayers have in common, having a deep and narrow perseption on Jyestha. Sex crime, having affair with multiple partners, ditching the guru, not being humble, these are human tendencies or qualities which come out from sinical mind which is on extreme roar, ..he or she can be another other star for that matter..Branding and trade marking a person that " this what you will be, since mr.x was like that,.." is nothing but making people think negative and inferior about Jyestha and over looking the goodness of Jyestha. I know a man having 3 wives, who is not Jyestha. There are people whom I know who are from the most " so called " divine stars who have misbehaved with young women and have been cruel to their servants and poor people,..i know a son who tried to kill his a father,..by the way none of them are Jyestha.I know doctors who are Jyestha who don't take money from poor people to treat their physical ailments.I know a Jyestha person who did not marry just because he had the responsibility to marry of 3 sisters and two brothers..... stereotyping Jyestha is uncalled for. I know one astrologer who said " yes, they (Jyestha) are treacherous and are scorpion like,...." ,..that response came when I asked him as to why people speak only ill about Jyestha,..that is when I knew he knew nothing about Jyestha. You were lot more kind in fact., thanks 😀

      You have to realize that accepting any form of information from ignorant people will only lead you to grief. First assess the qualification of your source of information - THEN pay attention to the information they give.

      VicDiCarasAstrology - Whether somebody is the world's best astrologer or an utter page 3 gimmick jack astrologer of the third kind,..the purpose he or she is there is give that HOPE to the unfortunate people to be better from the unfortunate things which influence a person externally,.like planets,..evil energy levels etc. There is no point in calling a spade a spade repeatedly in astrology,..since we have good computer software which can tell what a person is like based on his star.So a person in blood and flesh as an astrologer advicing those unfortunate people as to how to make there life better should say more good words giving that hope to them to improve and succeed in life.If telling them that you are a mula, you will have hell spelt every second,..oh you are Purva phalguni, you will always sleep having condom under your pillow,...such advices will only make themore negative.Give people hope,..say good things to them,..an iota of goodwill you sow in them will reflect ten fold in their mind to make their world better and their family better.
