Its pretty easy to understand why the male version is autotuned its so that a male voice can have a higher energy pitch that goes better with fast electronic beat. Female vocals just have that naturally and thats why most electronic and trance songs have female vocals over male.
Nope, you can change key of the song to fit any singer's vocal range. They did this but the male singer can't sing shit. You can have all electronic sounds or fast beats as you want with a good singer that doesn't use auto tune.

All instruments including voice should play those notes, it doesn't matter how high or low the octave of some instruments is. However, male and female voices are different and some people can sing an especific song in E minor, but for others is complicated because of their tessitura, they can sing that song in a higher or lower key. In his case is more because he isn't that good as a singer. Besides, with good eq if the guitars and voice are in the same range both can be distinguished pretty easy, same with the bass (it's one octave lower but bad eq makes it disappear in the mix).
He's singing just fine in The Answer with no autotune in play; with Savior and Dark Hero being much busier songs, I'm much more inclined to agree with Andreas.

Platinum did say that if the game does well then we'll get a trilogy and they ended saying that it "surpassed expectations". Along with that, Platinum's Hideki Kamiya suddenly tweeted "Bayonetta 3" and "Astral Chain 2". Safe to say we're in for a good run.
I don't watch anime that often, but if it had a passionate and dedicated team with a high budget and flexible schedule. this game would make for a great anime adaptation.

The song, One Step Closer, uses no autotune. It's a stylistic choice in Dark Hero, not because he can't sing -- he can sing very well.
it's crazy because any music producer can hear how over the top the autotuning is: it's not pitch correcting, it's stylistic, and there's a clear distinction between the two

You know a section in an action game is truly incredible when the mission it’s in has a mediocre stealth section and that mission is still the best in the game
Outrageous. Personally, I would have nominated Astral Chain for Game of the Year too. I get why they picked Smash instead, but I was expecting to see Fire Emblem and hoping to see Astral Chain. I'm surprised.
Main reason is the male versions auto tune. It limits the singer’s voice and as such it doesn’t have as much energy as the female version. I like them both a lot (my fav version is a twin mix of the two) but overall the female version is just better executed

Acho que esse é daqueles jogos que só daqui há alguns anos vai ter seu devido reconhecimento. Astral Chain tem uma gameplay única, talvez até única demais, por isso nem todos jogaram o jogo a fundo para desbravar seu gameplay, que, na minha opinião, é incrível, bem como sua estética e trilha sonora, esta jóia perdida merece uma sequência e reconhecimento!

2:09 was when the button mashing sequence for me happened. I wasn't planning on it, it just happened. I loved the timing so much that i instantly hit the capture button on my Switch to relive that glorious moment over and over again.

It definitely deserves to be in smash and while it isn't my top pick for the final character, if it is going to be first party I would want them. They ended smash 4 with a platinum rep why not again?

Not only does this game need to be appreciated more, it needs a sequel that is as long as a full length JRPG. The world created for this game is so enthralling; its place I want to immerse myself in for a hundred hours and learn the minute details of.
I didn't mind the stealth section before this track came up. To me, the stealth was pretty easy to get through. The guards are hilariously stupid. On another note, when I found Brenda and started fighting Akira in this form, WOW WAS I HYPED!!!! Seeing two hyper-legions going at it was one of the most ANIME moments ever, and I was grinning ear to ear the whole time! This game is so freakin good, it's just a tragedy it's as underrated as it is. I would play the crap out of a sequel!

Far to late. The base roster was decided sometime in 2015-2017 and the dlc was decided in around 2017-2018 maybe early 2019. The most recent character added was byleth and that was 1 before astral chain 2 first party Nintendo and since Nintendo chose the characters that's why.
File 10 goes from “ugh I hate stealth missions” to “ZRZLZRZLZRZLZRZLZRZLZRZLZRZLZRZLZRZLZRZL” in a matter of minutes and I love it

I love both versions but I must agree the female version just kicks more butt!
Main reason is the male versions auto tune. It limits the singer’s voice and as such it doesn’t have as much energy as the female version. I like them both a lot (my fav version is a twin mix of the two) but overall the female version is just better executed

Acho que esse é daqueles jogos que só daqui há alguns anos vai ter seu devido reconhecimento. It definitely deserves to be in smash and while it isn't my top pick for the final character, if it is going to be first party I would want them. They ended smash 4 with a platinum rep why not again?

Not only does this game need to be appreciated more, it needs a sequel that is as long as a full length JRPG. The world created for this game is so enthralling; its place I want to immerse myself in for a hundred hours and learn the minute details of.

I didn't mind the stealth section before this track came up. To me, the stealth was pretty easy to get through. The guards are hilariously stupid. On another note, when I found Brenda and started fighting Akira in this form, WOW WAS I HYPED!!!! Seeing two hyper-legions going at it was one of the most ANIME moments ever, and I was grinning ear to ear the whole time! This game is so freakin good, it's just a tragedy it's as underrated as it is. I would play the crap out of a sequel!
Who else thinks this song could of easily been a insert song that BEVERLY did for Kamen Rider Build (I think Hazard or Crocodile in Rogue would fit with this song)

Far to late. The base roster was decided sometime in 2015-2017 and the dlc was decided in around 2017-2018 maybe early 2019. The most recent character added was byleth and that was 1 before astral chain 2 first party Nintendo and since Nintendo chose the characters that's why.
