Nothing as low as using a child's heart surgery as blackmail. A bad guy hurting a silently suffering mother. As bad as it is, it's a rather refreshing plot point to get the story moving. You watch enough dramas and most bad character plots have been done to death. Min Hui's workplace is so wholesome. Gossip faced upfront and maturely, women supporting women.
He was jealous in the 1st episode when Mr cheng was slightly involved with Min 😂❤️ let keep up with the jealousy 💪🏻 I need to watch once we get married too!

In my observation : Both Su Tian & Xin Zi are orphans & grew up together. XZ must have treasure the companionship with her & made a promise to come see her & take her out of place & country… and must have made an appt to meet before he goes for the heart surgery . But I think ST died .. and desire her friend Min Hui to meet Xin Zi & pass him her diary. Saw that MH fulfilled her friend’s dying wish .. That’s why she avoided meeting him after the initial meet up by the Big Tree 🌳 Yet i think XZ fallen in love with MH ( thinking she is Su Tian)… Probably went on a relationship for 3 months … until the truth was made known by MH herself … To which XZ cannot take it … and see it as a betrayal of trust & insincerity . But I think MH truly loves him. Guess they had a sexual relationship before the breakup. So the little boy was the result . Ok i did not subscribed to the drama . Just piecing the drama & connecting the dots. What I want to know is : how and why Su Tian died ? Did ST donated her heart to Xin Zi ?

But then, they're only children (or closed to teenagers) when they (the ML and the childhood friend) grew up together and liked each other. There afterwards they were living apart and could only communicate through letters etc. It was the FL (using the fake identity) whom the ML saw in real person and felt in love with and also had a love affair or a relationship with. I do believe that they did love each other and get along very well when they're together in those few months so it's arguable that the ML did love the FL though he said that he hated her and never wanted to see her again. But then in one of the released episodes, he complained that she was not there when he woke up from his heart surgery .........
