- Two incredible days of riding mountain bikes with Simon out in Pisgah National Forest! The trails out in Pisgah are world-class and offer some amazing riding and unbelievable views!!! We rode Pilot Rock, Pilot Cove, and Slate Rock for the first time on day one, and followed it up with a full lap of Black Mountain trail #127 on day two! It's definitely hard to beat time out on some of Pisgah’s most iconic trails! As always I hope you enjoy the video and if you haven't already, please consider subscribing!!!

I just rode Pilot the other day, can confirm you are ripping here through some of that. Tough trail.
It’s different from a lot of stuff out there, definitely slower and more technical!
Primetime Pisgah! The climb is always worth it. Gonna have to check out Pilot. 🤘
It’s such a sick run!!!
Great Pisgah riding. Well done!
Thanks man!!! 🤟🤙👊
This video has one fantastic trail in it
We are entitled to our own opinions 🤷♂️
Oh, yeah
🤟🤟🤟
I just found ur page today, but coming from Pisgah I definitely had to follow. I never got to MTB out there but ur doing great work!
Thanks! The mountain biking in Pisgah is all time!!
Fun stuff right there. Great video
Appreciate it!! Loved getting to check out these lesser known trails!!!
Pilot is easily my favorite trail I've been on in Pisgah!
It’s phenomenal!!!
I've ridden a lot around the United States these past couple of years. Black Mountain might still be the greatest trail of all time in my book! Plus, that whole area of Pisgah forest and the city of Ashville is so awesome! Blue Ridge parkway is one of the coolest roads in the country. Ridgeline at Dupont State Forest is also up there on my list of best trails. What is the temperature there btw? Are you running 27.5 for the wheels or have you sized down? Bike looks extra poppy. Maybe that's just your riding style.
Yea, there is a ton of great riding in that area!!! And I recently got a new frame and it’s a mullet setup, 29” in the front and 27.5” in the rear! And I’m known to have a more playful/poppy riding style haha
@chrisburns460 Cool man. I need to try a mullet setup at some point.
It’s definitely faster going downhill, but also a little less playful
Wish I could figure out how to get to these trails so I can shred them. Great video.
I use MTB project! It’s free and GPS accurate!!
@@chrisburns460 I’ll check it out, thanks!
I noticed you now have the new Nomad, what are your thoughts on the new frame & running a rock show fork vs the fox you had on your green nomad ?
It’s definitely more DH oriented and takes a lot of speed to really work properly, but it’s definitely nice on the downhills!
Is there anyway to watch elevation speed and direction on the screen while you ride ? Bluetooth gps ?
It’s an option on the go pro but I prefer to watch the footage without it, you can generally tell if it’s fast and/or steep.
Pretty bad ass no matter how you do it!
Thanks!! 🤙🤙
None of that looked like a trail.
It definitely gets tight at spots 😅
you think a trail bike could handle all that
I work at a downhill park over the summer and can only afford one really nice bike, so the nomads all I got 🤷♂️. Overbiked in Pisgah and underbiked at the park, just the way I like it!
