    I love the elegant simplicity of this necklace. It’s a huge statement piece yet not at all fussy. It would look great over a plain t-shirt with jeans or dressed up with a fancy sheath dress or a-line with heels. Great piece!

    I just purchased beads for this project. I've watched the video and I FINALLY think I get it. I've been beading since 2012 and avoid RAW and PRAW because it always seemed so confusing. Now since watching your video I'm going for it!! I love the added drop beads. I've used those before in other projects. Very cool to add them to a beaded rope necklace.

      Hold off on the wine when stitching in the drop fringe beads. Those suckers really like to crawl inside the center when stitching around. I found using my needle nose pliers (or a pencil/pen I guess) is handy to keep swirling around the center tunnel so no drop beads hide away in there! 😉I DID discover a hidden drop when the project was completed (grrrr). Fortunately, the drop beads have a pointed bottom so I was able to stitch another one on top of it and pull it down into the center from the other side and securely tie off. THEN I needed my wine! Phew, tedious project.

    • @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry
      @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you 🌻 CRAW is cubic right angle weave which starts with 4 beads so your base is a square. If you add beads, let’s say 5 instead of 4, then you have a pentagon as your base. three beads and you have a triangle, etc. This is PRAW or prismatic right angle weave 🌻

    Hi Stephanie! I want to thank you first for you magnificent work. You designs are amazing and all your pieces are incredible beautiful. Thank you for sharing! This is a gorgeous necklace and the bezel is amazing! I love how they look together. I have never done this stitch before but the way you explained seems pretty easy. I will buy the materials to make one. However I realized that the video does not include the materials for the bezel. Can you please let me know what kind of stone and beads I need? Thank you so much!

    • @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry
      @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Cidalia Domínguez Díaz Thank you Cidalia🙏🌻😃 You’re going to love playing with this stitch! Looks complicated but is really easy once you get the technique. The bezel is Peyote made with 11/0 Delicas and 15/0 seed beads. It’s an irregular shaped stone I had in my stash. I plan on doing a video on irregular shaped Peyote bezels sometime in the future. If you know how to make a peyote bezel then string on enough Delicas to surround the stone. Then stitch your bezel 💕

    • @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry
      @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I made about 50 PRAW units per side. I actually measured the length I wanted. My length is about 20ish inches. So I made the PRAW units 7 1/2 niches long on each side. The Center Drops are 2 1/2 inches. The ends are about an inch each. The the clasp which is about 1/2 inch.

    Stephanie, I love you videos a I'm going back to an older one here so I'm hoping you see this. What brand of 3mm pearls would you now recommend for this project?

      Thank you Tricia 💕 You can use any brand you like. I like Potomacs Czech glass pearls or Preciosa and Krakovski from Eureka are very beautiful 🤩

    Do you remember the name of the type of stone cab you used? It's beautiful.

      Thank you so much 🙏🌻😊This is a Turquoise stone I had in my stash. I purchased it in a group of stones from Firemountain Gems a couple of years ago. It isn’t a cabochon, it’s domed in both sides. I’ll be doing a video on how to bezel irregularly shaped stones in the future.

    Compliments!!!!! very nice light green necklace with its pendant wonderful, I would have liked to do it for me, unfortunately I understood for all the piece of white pearls, then as you entered the blue, the dark .... below, above, back, forward , very quickly and ...... I have not understood anything .... sin .... I can not do it ..... good night !!!!!

      Hi Silvana 😀 You can do this. If you understand the white pearl part then by the time you get to the blue drops you will be an expert. It is the same stitch - it just looks different because of the drops. I did a simple increase and decrease which should be easy by the time you get to it. I hope you give it a try but if not then thanks for your nice comment 🙏

    Hi Stephanie, love the new video. I’m having some issues with TH-cam, I’m subscribed to your channel, but I haven’t been getting notifications. I saw this new one Facebook. Any idea what’s up with TH-cam? Thanks.

      I looked it up and it says to go to the channel and click on the bell next to the subscribe button. See if that works and I’ll continue to investigate 😉😊😃

    Gorgeous! Do you know why it’s called Praw?

    • @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry
      @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you🙏😊🌻 PRAW stands for Prismatic Right Angle Weave. It really is Cubic Right Angle Weave with more beads in the first round which changes it from a cube to a many sided object.

      Bronzepony Beaded Jewelry thank you I did figure that out shortly after I asked. But I let the question ride because I wondered if there was more. Is this a stick that you developed? Or has it had a long history in bead work? Thank you.

    If I used 6mm firepolish beads. What size seed beads should I use?

    • @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry
      @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m not sure how 6mm will work with this pattern but you can try 8/0’s maybe?
