SHELLDANCE GARDENS IN PACIFICA - AN ORCHID KINGDOM

We visited Shelldance Gardens, a nursery growing a great variety of orchids, bromeliads and neotropical plants. Shelldance was established in 1976, and it occupies historic greenhouses built in 1949. Shelldance Gardens is a gardeners' paradise where one can see and buy unique types of orchids and other plants from this family, and learn about their care and cultivation. It has a very knowledgeable staff that can respond to many of your questions. Shelldance Gardens are located in Pacifica at 2001 CA-1, Pacifica, CA 94044, and they are open to public on Saturday and Sunday, 11am - 4pm. Also, the views from the nursery on the hills and the ocean are majestic, and you can take a great hike along Sweeney Ridge trail from the nursery.
