Hi I found your videos because I'm wondering what to do with my unfinished basement. Was going to just throw down cheap rugs until we can finish the basement but quickly realized that is not the cheap option. I have plywood sub floors. Do you think just getting big cuts of cheapo carpet and using the tape temporarily so my kids are getting splinters before we finish the basement fully

Thanks for connecting! Yea if you’re lookin to slap it together on a real budget I would connect with carpet installers through your network and ask them for any of the rems they have left over from jobs.
From there you can tetris them covering the floor until your ready to do the official flooring installation
