Just started collecting again after like 25 years and I started with this set, having a lot of fun and brings back great memories of my childhood 😁👍
This set is so underrated in my opinion. The art is absolutely sublime
I honestly don’t think paldea evolved is that good,in general i don’t think scarlet and violet will have good sets,but you never know
Bro the new artworks in this set is just stunning! Imo these special illustration cards are just a a very nice edition to S&V. I’ve been ecstatic to open Pokémon cards ever since S&V came out! I just can’t get my hands on Pokémon cards. The country where I live at barely sells any Pokémon cards. 😢

One of the biggest flaws of the SWSH sets was that there were so many secret rares but the main set had a felt amount of 20 cards haha

My pulls have been insane! All of my first three Paldea Evolved had hits of some kind. A Pikachu Ex, A Illustration Rare and a Super Illustration Rare, all in my first three packs. My luck with the Scarlet and Violet packs have been crazy!
Man the new illustration rares are out of this world!! Wish there was a steel type legendary Ruin Pokémon!! 😭😂

I really missed it when a new set came out. And you did you're really massive openings. I used to always watch them to check pull rate and to see what I would get if I bought a booster box. Also for sure I enjoyed it when you completed the entire set
I'm so glad that for the Scarlet & Violet sets they've increased the pull rates, it makes opening new packs way more exciting, plus they just keep outdoing themselves with the artwork

I didn't think a set would top Crown Zenith with the artworks and the pull rates but Paldea Evolved really comes close to it! Amazing content as always. 🙏

What a great intro to the new set. Looks to be full of goodness. I have to say the full art trainers do not get the love they deserve.

I, at least, do appreciate the way illustration rares are treated in SV. Pull rates too easy or no, I prefer not needing 6000+ packs to even have a hope of getting anything even approaching a master set. Thanks for the sneak peek.
I know (Big Who Cares), but I went to a pilot in Illinois and bought out their entire stock of Paldea Evolved (just under $700) and they gave me the display too. Can't wait to have that set up

I love they are using some of the OG generations. Not sure about the silver borders though 😆
I prefer the silver border tbh, it stands out more, and just makes it REALLy feel like a new set, but I could still live with yellow borders, the yellow gives a more Pokémon kinda vibe.
Edit: when he pulled that pikachu EX card, I’m watching late but I was opening up a paldea evolved pack and pulled same thing same time lol
Tip: in scarlet and Violet and paldea evolved if u have a black border round ur code card, if u get 2 reverses before final card, get ready for an ex, full art ex or gold ex or what ever
Honestly really like this set- having the starters as well as the treasures of ruin all featured in the same set is pretty awesome!
I did read somewhere that every booster box should have 13 hits on average, which is nice with the increased MSRP.

Yooooo they finally made the English cards look the same as the Japanese sets! Let’s gooooo the Japanese cards always looked way better with the holo border the English set was always just the holo picture no border that’s awesome

Such a cool new set and such a good video! I would be really happy to get the booster box. I live in Israel and out here we have A TON of fake Pokemon cards and it is really hard to put your hands on some real ones. I really want to expand my collection and I think this will be such a great way to do so. Keep up with these awesome videos! i got a special illustration first try. I got it in a box. If youre wondering what it is its mewtwo vstar crown zenith (galarian galaxy) its an ultra rare.
