No, we haven't got any traps out this year. We brought 6 through winter, I plan on making 3 splits Thursday. That will make us 9, we really do not want anything over 10.

Tracey, I agree with that. With the way that lumber is now it is hard to do anything. I go up into Ohio and buy my lumber at an Amish sawmill. It is a lot cheaper and I buy a big load at a time. Congrats on the swarm, I am hopeful that it will break loose here this week. Good luck!
What's the PVC pipe hanging on the chain link fence? Found your channel looking to learn about top feeders. I'm from Pennsylvania and the wife an I are going to beekeepers class this weekend to start our journey in beekeeping. 👍✌️
That is a homemade pollen sub feeder. I put Ultra Bee in there and they hit it hard when there is no pollen coming in. Good luck with the bees, you will love it!
