This issue adds a very sad aspect to his character arc (and you definitely see it in the canonical movies). Tragically, a job like this would make maintaining a close support system very difficult.

It's too bad so much of "Vendetta" was so ridiculously over the top, bc his little diatribe to Chris and Rebecca was quite provocative and sincere. It just got completely lost in the John-Wick-wannabe action. Not to mention that he was all hunky-dory in "Death Island" then. I really wish the writers would follow their own story/character arc...

It seems like Leon has always had those tendencies to drink too much and I wonder if it has any connection to him losing his family so young. The movies and games seem to mainly portray him as this perfect badass hero but I would love to see more of his "darker" side. He definitely needs a lot of therapy
