What about insurance? I would never dare to open my new car, would go for upper variants rather. In case of any mishap, insurance companies would back off.
Your concern is valid, brother, but you need to understand the full picture. A new car's warranty only comes into question when any aftermarket work has been done by tampering with the car's original wiring. However, if the work is done without altering the original wiring or through a coupler-to-coupler method, then there is no such issue. That’s why, if you get any aftermarket work done, you should personally ensure this point is taken care of.
@@carkhana this justifies your POV. So taking your points in mind, could you or any other accessory shop (not targeting you) sign on a legal stamp paper that if any mishap happens and insurance company rejects the claim, you/other shop owner will bear the loss? A big NO!! but insurance company will bear if there is no tampering with the vehicle.
The issue is not with this shop (whose video this is) or any other shop. Nowhere will anyone give you a written guarantee or something on stamp paper. Because any shop owner would say that you came yourself to get the work done, and had the work done in front of you, so why didn’t you pay attention to see if anyone tampered with your car’s wires? You wanted to get the work done cheaply, which is why you came to the shop, so if there was any force involved, do let us know. These would be the exact same words from any shop owner. Look, brother, it completely depends on you whether you want to get aftermarket work done or not. People want to save money, which is why they opt for aftermarket services. Now, it’s not possible for everyone to be wealthy or afford top models. And if the risk was so high, we would see news about it every day.
