Örö - Fortress Island - has such a diverse beautiful nature with a military history. It is our second time in here, a lot has changed since 2019. With the harbour fee, you have access to the sauna on the shore. (For more infos visit their website).
We hike all the way to the North tip and around. Encountering wildlife. First time seeing in the wild viper snake.
The island was close to the public for over a 100 years, and now reopened in 2015, If you find yourself in the Finnish archipelago, would highly recommend it!
Also, the Fish& Chips from RantaBistro was excellent!
