    you dont have to pry/heat the battery, theres two black tabs on the bottom which you can pull to remove the sticky/glue part from the battery, then when re adding the blue on the battery make sure it extends to the front like black tabs from before

    My Mi9 is turning off constantly, and take some time to turn it on again.
    Only the battery solves it, or I should replace the charging board ?

    I want to try replacing the Xiaomi Mi 9 battery with a redmi 8a battery or any larger capacity that supports fast charging at least 18 watts.

    will the phone still be waterproof after changing the battery
    ?

      It was not waterproof to begin with.

      @@michaelbvelez8302 well it is not certified, but it still is waterproof tho just no IP68 certification.

    i did it.. My battery went on fire when i tried to remove it. Cellphone went on the garbage bin.

      @@Yer_Da_ he proabbly made a hole trough it. he shoudl have done it with the battery fully dead to avaoid those accidents
