Repairing Fabric Row Cover

- I can repair my winter row cover with duct tape, but I have a better technique that is easier to use and looks much better - hot glue! This is a great way to save money when using fabric row cover, because I don't have to throw away the row cover when it develops holes. In this video, I show through somewhat-scientific experimentation that the row cover is actually much stronger where it is mended. Using this money-saving technique my row cover should last me for many years, justifying the expense of this season-extending resource.

This is the best repairing damaged row cover video I've ever seen❣️
It's weird, but it seems to be a little-discussed topic, but I'm glad that of all the videos you've seen about it, this was your favorite.
I enjoyed watching your test. I haven't damaged any row covers but when I do, I'll know what to do. Thanks!
It'll happen sooner or later. Glad to help!
Nice. Maybe hot-gluing a patch over the rips, so the sheet doesn't get a pinch in it. Patches from really badly ripped-up row cover.
I've been wondering if I could fuse patches to themselves with... a craft iron? I bet I'll just burn little iron-shaped holes through instead.
That would work quite well, I think, and would also maintain the outer dimensions of the row cover. The repair never failed, fyi.
Rockin solutions!
So true!
