No matter where we live, language barrier, culture, and most importantly is education can go a long way.
US is still one of the greatest countries with freedom and many opportunities. There are still many people around the world who would want to move here today!

@@CamboXchange Yes. We are still here for 43 years. I was only 24 when I came here. I knew right away that I'll survive here after I had to live through that horrific genocide under Pol Pot . Most of my family members did not survive. I only have one sister left who still lives in Phnom Penh.
I came here alone but I was very lucky I had finished high school in Phnom Penh when Khmer Rouge took over the country in 1975. My French and English I learned there really helped my transition very quickly after I arrived in US!
