Thanks everybody for watching the video and all the support! Looking like a few more weeks of being on the coast before mammoth opens up for winter. I’m super pumped to start doing snowboarding trips!
Good point! You could also say the earth is our home so maybe we’re all at home no matter if we have shelter or a house, perspective is an interesting thing
I share the exact same apprehensions with my van too. I enjoyed your vid, your low key approach and honesty. Good luck! I wish your channel success! :)
Your ability to live a life of “oh well” vs “what if’s” is pretty dope! Persistence removes resistance. Keep filming/posting/uploading & I’ll keep watching!😂 I’m rooting for you man!
That’s a great saying! And yea definitely more of an “oh well” type of person and try to have as much fun as possible while tackling everything life throws my way. Thanks for the support, I’ll keep posting!
You're doing life right! I am 58 and I don't know why anyone your age would even bother trying buy a house or risk getting tied down in an expensive lease for a cramped apartment, especially with the ephemeral nature of corporate employment. In a van you can move to where ever the next job and adventure is.
People will always be judge mental on YT. But know that you living your best life and sharing that gives other people permission to live theirs and to consider alternative living situations. Plus you are gaining a perspective few get. Try a collapsible dishpan as a sink? They fold up real small and you can brush teeth, wash dishes etc. or even a stainless mixing bowl if you prefer. I’ve seen people cut holes and add drain hoses even. Peace and thanks for sharing! ☮️
I absolutely agree! I’m making the most of it and loving it so far! Glad to share it but if somebody’s not a fan it’s all good. Thanks for the sink tip!
Im only 2 mins in but you gotta dedicate 1 burner in your build walmart sell a propane burner for $20 in camp section cut a hole in cabinet fits down nicely.. but honestly i think you could do what i do and that grill fresh meat every night hahaha man i love grilling and you can fit a small grill in somewhere take out put on picnic table.. views of the coast are awesome.. i gotta finish the video now
I used to be a professional cook for over 20 years and I aspire to live van life, but if I was in ca I would so meal prep for you… I can’t remember if you have a refrigerator or not, but I think meal prepping is def your best option. Or even just having quick snacks and meal options since you’re always busy on the go.. like protein bars, energy bars, shake options.. etc
Awh that’d be amazing, move to California! Haha I don’t have one yet but I got a lot of great suggestions for fridge models so I’m trying to hone in on which one to purchase right now. Good tips on the quick snacks! I just have cliff bars right now but I definitely need to get more options
No I don’t have a storage unit, that was a big goal of mine moving into it because they’re so expensive here. And I have some things stored at friends houses
Can't figure out why most van dwellers buy Ford Econoline.?? The name itself is so counterintuitive...there's nothing econo about it, just an endless money pit! Get something worth your time and money like a sienna...
I agree that’s the right choice for most ppl. I needed something with a lot of storage space (much more than a sienna). And it’s a lot cheaper than buying and maintaining a sprinter
Thanks everybody for watching the video and all the support!

You need to change your mindset, you are not homeless you are houseless. You have some place that's shelter that provides a home.

Mad respect for the hustle you are putting in with the two jobs and vanlife.
I’m loving the grind honestly haha but thank you!
Your doing good. Hang in there, keep moving forward and all will work out!😊

Exactly my thoughts!
Great video. I live in my Toyota Prius.
Thank you! I’m very jealous of how much you’re saving in gas compared to me
Gas savings really help. It also has a sneaky large amount of storage space.
Really interesting to hear about how you’ve been feeling 🫶🏽 thanks for letting us in.. cheers to youuuuu!!! 🌞🌞🌞✨✨✨
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed hearing me out!

Your video quality is fine. Exactly what I enjoy watching. ✌️
Awesome that makes me feel a bit better haha. I wouldn’t know where to start with an expensive camera so I’m stoked you’re liking it!
Enjoyed your video Ford E350 great platform! I'm real frugal $20 for that meal lol. Keep the videos coming!
I love this van! Haha I know it should be like $5 but that’s the cost of Malibu
Such cool videos ty for them.
Thank you!!
5:02 you could try a cheap camera mounted led light box, I just picked one up that came with a diffuser, might be a bit easier on the eyes
Thanks for the tip I’ll check them out!
Love the vid! Keep it coming
Absolutely!

That’s a great suggestion! I think you’re right about just doing fresh meat. Keep it simple and healthy
@@NicksVanLife I was grilling a thick cut pork steak for lunch when I left that comment.. it was fabulous! So cheap! Best of luck 🤞

Be safe.
I will!
" Engineers use campgrounds" ( lol)
Nick, i recommend finding cheaper food (Panda Express) instead of shrimp 🍤. Sign up for a gym membership to use showers
I do love some Panda Express! I’m trying to pick out a good gym chain right now to commit too. Thanks for the tips!
Do you have a storage unit or somewhere for your other possessions or is everything you own in the van?
No I don’t have a storage unit, that was a big goal of mine moving into it because they’re so expensive here. And I have some things stored at friends houses
what's the best surf movie? endless summer?
surf zombies from outer space
Haha classic
That one’s hard to beat! But my personal favorite is Surfs Up. Third I’d say is North Shore
