If they got Cheech Marin in the animated series, Tommy is a LOW BAR, He'll say yes. He had a series in the Machinima Channel back in the day, although I worry he's difficult to work with.

(1:45) *_"Hi, Mark."_** ~* Sam Riegel's catch and Dungeon Master Matt Mercer's inspiration for tiefling airship Captain Xandis is from *[The Room (2003 film)],* written, produced, directed, and starring, Tommy Wiseau. - a.) *Worst ~* Despite a cult-film following, 'The Room' is rated as one of the worst films ever made, with terrible acting (particularly Wiseau's), badly written screenplay, fragmented dialogue, obvious low production values, cheaply made score, lack of direction (remember: Wiseau wrote, directed, & starred), and poor cinematography. - b.) *Desperate ~* Wiseau literally spent more money trying to promote 'The Room' than upon the film itself, personally paying for billboard signs all around Los Angeles, California, as remakred in-character by Orym (2:12) and out-of-character by Liam O'Brien (2:22). 2. (1:00) *_"You don't do what I say, we throw you overboard, okay?"_** ~* Love the reactions of the Bells Hells crew, especially Fearne's (Ashley Johnson), _"Whoa-whoa-whoa...",_ and Orym's (Liam O'Brien) initial thumbs-up then falling facial expression. Thanks for uploading this, *Critical Moments.* :)
Tim Conway actually based the voice of Mr. Tudball (and subsequently "Dorf") on his Romanian mom's voice. (Also, Tim Conway was born Thomas (Tom) Conway, but changed it because there was already a British actor named Tom Conway.) So the Tommy Wiseau assumption on Liam's part is not... far off, Wiseau being from New Euroslavostanopia (seriously, NO ONE knows exactly where Wiseau is really from- plenty of speculation, but nothing you can find on Google Maps). "Ahhh, Missus A-Whiggins..."- please watch, compare & contrast, also funny as hell: th-cam.com/video/KIZA7ghxWBQ/w-d-xo.html
I think a more fitting descriptor for a person who doesn't look one gender or the other would be androgynous, as I don't think you can tell someone is nonbinary just by looking at them.
I think Matt specified the character is non binary so the cast would know what pronouns to use without the character having to waste time explaining it. Which I don’t think is that weird considering we’ve had plenty of examples in the show where the cast wouldn’t necessarily know someone’s gender just by looking at them (soldiers wearing thick head to toe armor, pretty drows of the Dynasty wearing dresses, dwarven women with beards, female dragonborn, etc) but he still tells the party their gender for the sake of simplicity.
