My best friend introduced me to this song and every once in a while I find total comfort in this song. Bless you Ane Brun. Mother loved your country very much (we are from the Netherlands) and it was there, with my dad on her side, where she found total inner peace and could put her existence in the right context while battling for years. Thank you again.
My 14 year old dog passed away last month. He was a brother to me. He went peacefully. This song gives me a lot of comfort. I'm glad this exists.

When my father died, 2019, the album Rarities became stuck in my CD player in my car. We needed it. I needed it. It was a touch of grace and mercy that held my family’s hands throughout the funeral and all the people and the hardest things. I sent the album to the relatives who were with me through all of that. Then, I couldn’t listen to it for about a year after. Not because it made me sad, but because it was so sacred. I can listen to it now, and I’m so glad I found it. Thank you for giving so much to this world.
